It is actually Gus Atkinson who has been named Player of the Match. Knowing Joe Root I am sure he won't mind.

There's a huge ovation for Atkinson as he leads the players off holding the ball aloft.

It has been a stunning start to his Test career.

Who's getting player of the match? A seven-for and a century against twin centuries and the England record.

That's a tough one but I think I'd go for Joe.

Another dominant performance from England. Sri Lanka showed a lot of fight, more so than at Old Trafford.

England are heading for a summer clean sweep.

It's another emphatic victory, with Gus Atkinson leading the way.

    Kumara c Stone b Woakes 10

Lahiru Kumara goes for another big heave but can only sky it high into the air. Olly Stone comfortably pouches it and that's that. England win by 190 wins and take the series.

The last time an England player scored a century and took a five-wicket haul in the same Test was of course by Ian Botham, but it was way back in 1984 in Wellington.

It's the third time it's been done at Lord's after Botham and India's Vinoo Mankad.

Sri Lanka have improved, they've shown spirit. All I keep thinking is, what if they'd made the most of winning the toss?! It really is looking like a chronically terrible call now.

  7. SL 292-9published at 86.1 overs

Oof, there's a whip-crack off the bat as Lahiru Kumara goes for a cross-batted swipe and sends the ball fizzing through mid-off for four.

The sky is the limit for him, he looks like taking wickets and scoring runs every time he comes out to the middle.

  9. SL 288-9published at 86 overs

There is a huge smile on Gus Atkinson's face as he raises the ball into the sky to acknowledge the crowd.

Number 11 Asitha Fernando somehow manages to survive the rest of the over.

A wild hoick, straight through to the keeper. Gus Atkinson keeps enjoying Test cricket, no matter whether it's with bat or ball in hand.

But it was another promising innings from Rathnayake.

    He's done it again!

What a remarkable start to the career of this young fast bowler.

    Five-fer for Gus Atkinson!

What a Test match he is having. What a summer he is having.

He offers some width to Milan Rathnayake, who is in attacking mode and under-edges it through to Jamie Smith.

Milan Rathnayake is enjoying it against the new ball so far.

  14. SL 288-8published at 85.2 overs

Milan Rathnayake is racing along. He drives Gus Atkinson through the covers before pulling a short ball backward of square and to the rope for back-to-back boundaries.

    Rathnayake moves to 43.

  15. SL 280-8published at 85 overs

Ugly but effective from Lahiru Kumara as a wild swipe across the line flies through mid-wicket and brings four, despite Olly Stone's desperate attempts to claw the ball back from the rope.

It looks like Kumara is going to go down swinging.

Only two previous England players have scored a century and taken five wickets in the same men's Test match.

They are Tony Greig and Ian Botham - except Botham did it five times.

Milan Rathnayake has been a good find for Sri Lanka in this series. He will bowl all day for you, he is a brilliant fielder and his batting has taken us all by surprise.

  19. SL 276-8published at 84 overs

Lahiru Kumara quickly gets himself off the mark with a couple of singles. He proved to be a tricky nut to crack in the first innings. Milan Rathnayake also looks well set.

England still have some work to do.
