  1. WI 91-1published at 17 overs

    Target 264

"Catch it!" yells Phil Salt after Keacy Carty chips one into the leg side. Sam Curran tries to get back from mid-on but doesn't really threaten a catch.

The hosts remain comfortably in the box seat.

  2. drinks break

    Drinks - WI 86-1published at 16 overs

Need 178 runs from 204 balls

West Indies aren't going to do anything silly against Adil Rashid. They know the threat he poses.

Only two runs come from this over to take us to drinks.

  3. WI 84-1published at 15 overs

    Target 264

    Argh.

Carty responds to that reprieve by slicing Livingstone for four off the back foot and then swinging a sweep over short fine leg.

Livingstone's introduction almost brought a wicket but instead eight runs are added to the total.

    There's a spike.

    I think England knew.

  5. West Indies reviewpublished at 23:24 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

Liam Livingstone strikes with his first ball!

But has Keacy Carty hit this? He reviews the lbw shout straight away. It looked plumb.

  6. WI 76-1published at 14 overs

Need 188 more runs from 36 overs

Just when it feels like West Indies are breaking free, England respond with a couple of tight overs.

It's 24 balls since the last boundary. I still fear wickets are what the tourists need.

  7. WI 72-1published at 13 overs

Jamie Overton is probably competing with Brydon Carse for this enforcer role, with a bit of lower-order hitting thrown in.

It could be a tough choice if Overton continues like this. Two from the over.

Brandon King has been dismissed 10 times by leg-spin in ODIs at an average of just 10.30 - Adil Rashid will fancy his chances against him here.

  9. WI 70-1published at 12 overs

    Target 264

Brian Lara is signing copies of his new book in the stands. A topless England fan has just sat down next to him and Lara responded by rubbing his round stomach.

That's got to be good luck, right?

Adil Rashid is given an early over but fails to find a breakthrough.

Some news from down under, where Xavier Bartlett, Spencer Johnson and Josh Philippe have been brought into the Australian men’s squad for the third ODI against Pakistan in Perth. Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith will not play the third game to finalise preparations for the Test series against India.

Josh Inglis will act as captain for the third ODI and the T20 series. He becomes Australia’s 30th ODI captain and 14th T20I captain in the absence of Pat Cummins and Mitchell Marsh.

The second match in the series is in Adelaide on Friday, 03:30 GMT. You can listen to live commentary on the BBC Sport website.

  11. WI 69-1published at 11 overs

    Target 264

The worms are always going to look like different species here, given England made such a slow start. They were 24-4 after 10 overs remember.

Reece Topley, lurking in the deep after taking a pasting in his previous over, does well to stop a boundary with a sliding stop.

Brandon King may be struggling against Jamie Overton but he looks like he could play Reece Topley with one eye closed.

He times one through the covers off the back foot, heaves through mid-wicket and then lurches forward to drive.

He gets four on all three occasions and West Indies are right back on top again.

  14. WI 52-1published at 9 overs

    Target 264

Jamie Overton, running in and banging in the ball in from his height, is bowling well here.

He almost gets one to sneak through Brandon King's defences but the opener gets an inside edge. King probably misses out on the final ball on the pads.

  15. WI 49-1published at 8 overs

England continue the squeeze until Brandon King thrashes Reece Topley for four with a dominant pull shot.

  16. WI 44-1published at 7 overs

Keacy Carty is West Indies' number four.

That wicket just changes the complexion a little.

That is almost the very definition of a heavy ball. Not quite short enough for the shot as it was delivered at really good pace, rushing Lewis.

This is why England want Overton in the team. The much needed replacement for Liam Plunkett.

    And Jamie Overton strikes!

This is just what England want from the big quick. He slams the ball in at an awkward length and the result is Evin Lewis skewing a pull shot into the hands of mid-wicket.

    The dangerous Lewis is out.
