  1. Eng 5-0published at 2 overs

You may remember the beach in front of the party stand from the T20 World Cup earlier this year. Sand has been driven in from the local beaches, along with some picnic benches and deckchairs.

There are already some red-looking visiting supporters observing England's careful start.

  2. Eng 3-0published at 1 over

    Salt 3, Jacks 0

The plan from Matthew Forde is clear - hoop the ball in with his gentle inswing. Will Jacks is a little tentative early on.

  3. Eng 3-0published at 0.2 over

It's Matthew Forde starting with the ball for West Indies.

A misfield, one loudly and sarcastically cheered by the England fans, allows Phil Salt to get under way.

We’re assured that Overton is fit to bowl. I remain mystified though that Pepper has not been selected, and not just so we get to see Salt and Pepper bat together.

Does Livingstone really need NINE bowling options when there’s a spare batter warming the bench?

It seems plenty of England fans have made the trip out to Barbados for this one. The previous matches were both in Antigua.

The sun is shining and Phil Salt and Will Jacks are striding to the middle.

Jacks could do with a score.

This inexperienced England team is still waiting for a complete performance.

They were convincingly beaten in the first ODI after being bowled out for 209.

In the second match they conceded 328-6 but a superb century from skipper Liam Livingstone, arguably his best knock for England, took them to victory.

What sort of performance will we see today?

Pitch looks like a belter but with a bit of thundery rain in the forecast it was always going to be a ‘win the toss and bowl’ situation.

  8. Two changes for Englandpublished at 17:55 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

England have made two changes. Jamie Overton, who is fit to bowl today rather than play solely as a batter, is back, as is fellow pace bowler Reece Topley.

John Turner and Saqib Mahmood are the two to drop out.

West Indies have brought back Alzarri Joseph and Romario Shepherd.

England XI: Salt, Jacks, Cox, Bethell, Livingstone, S Curran, Mousley, Overton, Archer, Rashid, Topley.

West Indies XI: King, Lewis, Hope, Carty, Hetmyer, Rutherford, Chase, Shepherd, A Joseph, Forde, Motie.

England captain Liam Livingstone: "We were going to bowl as well. We will see what the pitch has to offer. Hopefully it gets slower as the day goes on.

"We feel like we have played a lot of cricket here in the last couple of years. We will try assess conditions quickly and go from there.

"We want to try be attacking and put people under pressure. People can take a lot of confidence from the other day."

West Indies captain Shai Hope: "We will be bowling first. Here in Kensington, we're not quite sure what we're going to get sometimes so we'll get some understanding from bowling first.

"Whatever we do, we have to do it well. Especially here at Kensington, you have to put a big score on the board as a batting team but we're chasing and we'll have to assess conditions quickly as a bowling group to put them under pressure early.

"The experienced boys are back. Alzarri was rested, Romario Shepherd had a little niggle but with that experience, we've strengthened the bowling line-up."

    First things first...

West Indies have won the toss. Skipper Shai Hope doesn't sound too certain on what to expect from this pitch and therefore has decided to bowl first.

    Hello.

What better way to end a day of change and uncertainty.

A young England team have a decider in their 50-over series in West Indies. Let's make this a politics-free space of cricketing positivity.

    It should be a cracker.
