  2. 'We have played some brilliant cricket in the series'published at 18:27 British Summer Time 26 May

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, speaking to Sky Sports: "We played some brilliant cricket over this T20 series. We didn't have the perfect game today but we set the standards very high in the first two games of the series.

"With the way we started our innings, to get up to that score was really competitive. West Indies made it very difficult for us. Heather [Knight] batting like that was perfect to get us to a competitive total."

Update on Knight: "She has got a tight hamstring. She will be assessed in the next few days."

On dropped catches: "We can't put that down to really anything. We definitely want to be better than that. But in the ned, we got over the line."

On the ODI squad: "Great to play some 50-over cricket again. It's been a while. It will be a little bit of a new squad. I am excited."

On Hayley Matthews: "She is a lot of headache. She is in great form as well She is a huge wicket for them - one that we will be striving to get."

  3. 'We'd have loved to get over the line'published at 18:24 British Summer Time 26 May

Player of the match and player of the series, Hayley Matthews, on Sky Sports: "It was really good to be able to go out there and score some runs and take some wickets. It was definitely a closer game today and one we felt like we competed in. We'd have loved to get over the line.

"Zaida James set the tone twice now getting that first wicket. We fielded a lot better, executed our plans nicer when we were bowling, but not able to chase it in the end."

On the secret to her good form: "Just having some really strong plans and playing to my strengths at all times. I've been fortunate to play a lot of T20 matches around the world and gain a lot of experience. Since I've been here I've been able to execute well."

On the performances of West Indies' young players: "I'm really happy. Jahzara Claxton came in and bowled beautifully, got her first wicket and showcased her talent with the amount of variations she bowled. Realeanna Grimmond looked a lot better at the crease. I'm super proud of them."

On the impact of the rain: "Nothing you can do about that. It stopped my flow a bit. I heard Caps [Alice Capsey] say something about the English summer..."

On the upcoming ODI series: "It's going to be very hard for us with this England squad but at the same time it gives our batters an opportunity to spend some time at the crease."

Hayley Matthews' all-round effort for West Indies today went in vain.

It is the first time a player has scored 70+ runs and taken three+ wickets in a losing cause in women's T20Is and the first time in men's & women's T20Is involving full-member teams.

She blows my mind does Nat Sciver-Brunt. She drops an absolute dolly earlier in the game and then she takes a catch like that. This is fantastic. She's taken it one-handed.

    Another West Indies wicket falls!

The tourists are unravelling here as England skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt takes a stunning catch.

She has to backtrack to get hold of Jannillea Glasgow's poorly timed shot towards mid off.

I like Glasgow's approach, At this stage of the game, you have to swing.

  14. WI 114-6published at 18 overs

    Alleyne 5, Glasgow 1

A brilliant over from Lauren Bell.

A wicket from her final over and concedes just a single as Jannillea Glasgow, who joined Aaliyah Alleyne in the middle, gets off the mark.

Huge wicket in this game. It was a slower ball from Lauren Bell, Hayley Matthews thinks it's pace on and goes down the ground, she's beaten by the slower ball and she's unlucky with that one.

We've talked so much about how West Indies rely on her and it's game over. For me, the game is done.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.1 overs

    Matthews c Arlott b Bell 71 (WI 113-6)

    Lauren Bell gets Hayley Matthews!

The West Indies skipper is undone by a slower delivery from Ball and skies it into the hands of Em Arlott at long on.

Matthews departs and surely with her, West Indies' hopes of winning this contest as well.

Smiles on the faces of England. Smile on the face of Linsey Smith. Claxton cannot believe it. It's a full toss, off the toe-end of the bat, and it goes straight to Sciver-Brunt.

  19. wicket

    Claxton c Sciver-Brunt b Smith 0 (WI 109-5)

A first-ball duck for Jahzara Claxton.

Not the debut innings Claxton would have dreamt off as she clips a full-toss from Linsey Smith straight to Nat Sciver-Brunt at mid-wicket.

    Smith is on a hat-trick.

That is not a pretty piece of batting from Gajnabi. It's the sort of shot that does not want to be viewed again from a batter's point of view.
