Paige Scholfield was released yesterday to go play in the T20 County Cup finals. Domestic cricket is so, so important for England now.

The head coach and captain decided she was not going to play, so what's the point of sitting on the bench and not playing? Go and get some experience and put yourself under pressure in the domestic game. I am a big, big fan of that.

West Indies captain Hayley Matthews on Sky Sports: "We're going to have a bowl first. It's an opportunity to do something a bit different."

On how she's motivating her squad after two defeats: "Just keep encouraging the girls. We've had periods where we've done okay but not for long enough, not consistent enough. Hopefully, we can do the good things for longer periods."

On the squad changes: "With Stafanie Taylor and Shemaine Campbelle, with the series being over, it gives them an opportunity for a rest before the ODI series. We've got so many young girls here, we're giving them an opportunity, a chance for valuable experience. Hopefully they feel at home early."

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt on Sky Sports: "We were fancying a bat today. So happy days. But we still have to bring out that ruthlessness and that will be the challenge for us today."

On playing in Chelmsford: "We were very welcomed here. We always have a nice time playing here in Chelmsford and I think that started all the way back when [England head coach Charlotte Edwards] was still playing."

On the squad changes: "We've got one change to the side today. Sarah Glenn comes in for Issy Wong."

In Hove on Friday, a player of the match-winning bowling performance from bowler Em Arlott helped England secure the series win with a match to spare.
