All of Mark Wood's deliveries so far have been faster than 150kms per hour. England's slip cordon will be hoping any edge is a feather otherwise it will fly away to the boundary.

  2. Aus 21-0published at 2 overs

A bit of late movement through the air from Mark Wood. He chuckles to himself after Matthew Short twice has a big swing at him, but fails to connect.

Wood is told to remove a plaster from his finger by umpire Joel Wilson between deliveries.

A superb piece of timing from Short from Wood's penultimate delivery as he uses the pace to steer the ball for four through third.

If seems a strange thing to say but Australia did well to restrict England to 351, given where England were after 30 overs.

  10. Aus 8-0published at 0.5 overs

Think we're dew-ty bound to talk about it....I'll get my coat

Matthew Short latches on to another delivery angled down the leg side by Mark Wood and whips it down to deep square for four.

It seems to be the stage where Dew has to be mentioned at least 18 times in each sentence. So apologies for not mentioning Dew enough times in this message about Dew.

'Glorious shot!' - the best of Duckett's century against Australia

Ben Duckett, a prolific sweeper against spinners, has played only nine sweep shots in this innings scoring 17 runs, 11% of the deliveries he's faced from spin leading up to that dismissal today. Across his career, Duckett usually plays 19% sweeps shots.

Adam Zampa is usually a tricky spinner when batters have tried to sweep him. In ODIs since the start of 2022, Zampa has 25 wickets at an average of 10.0 when batters have look to play the sweep - the best of all spinners in the timeline. Duckett has shown another case of curbing his natural game to find an effective way to excel in this innings.

    Cricinfo's Matt Roller: Ben Duckett's scores since coming back into England's ODI side as an opener in September: 95, 32, 8, 63, 107, 32, 65, 34, 165.

A big call at the time after some positive signs from Phil Salt and Will Jacks' partnership - and given Duckett's busy schedule - but it's paying off
