  1. WI 74-5published at 13 overs

Stafanie Taylor is hanging in there for West Indies.

A lot rests on her shoulders now and she's with quite a few overs left she's nudging and nurdling Sune Luus into the gaps for the time being.

Taylor looks in good touch, and pinged Annerie Dercksen straight down the ground with the shot of the day so far a little earlier.

I have not seen Nonkululeko Mlaba bowl with this much confidence for quite a long time. I think the work with Paul Adams has been helping her and South Africa in a lot of ways.

    Gone!

Chinelle Henry prodded forward to defend and the technology show there is a thin edge.

    Nonkululeko Mlaba is beaming.

  4. South Africa reviewpublished at 11.5 overs

The original decision is not out. It looks like there's some bat on this.

Has Nonkululeko Mlaba got two in two?

  5. South Africa reviewpublished at 11.5 overs

Nonkululeko Mlaba skips one past the edge of Chinelle Henry and there's a big appeal.

South Africa wicketkeeper Sinolo Jafta likes this and it's reviewed.

    Campbelle b Mlaba 17 (WI 62-4)

    Nonkululeko Mlaba has another!

Shemaine Campbelle is caught in two minds, perhaps, to the South Africa left-arm spinner as she attempts to work the ball to leg and ends up fiddling round the ball and is done for pace.

  7. WI 62-3published at 11.3 overs

Sune Luus, still in some discomfort, is able to complete the over and gets away with drag down which Shemaine Campbelle is unable to punish.

Left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba returns to the attack and starts with three dot balls. She bagged the wicket of Qiana Joseph in her first spell.

South Africa must get Stafanie Taylor now. If she settles, it's going to be a problem, But if she can be removed in the next couple of overs, I don't think the West Indies middle order can push the total to 140.

  9. ouch!

    WI 61-3published at 10.5 overs

A little more risk averse from Shemaine Campbelle and Stafanie Taylor to the remainder of Sune Luus' over.

Although Campbelle absolutely leathers a low drive back at the bowler off the penultimate ball of the over. Luus gets down low and stops it, but is in quite some pain afterwards.

    On comes the physio.

  10. WI 58-3published at 10.1 overs

Spinner Sune Luus into the attack for South Africa after drinks, and Shemaine Campbelle picks up a single with a streaky cut through gully to start.

Marizanne Kapp absolutely roared with delight after capturing the wicket of South Africa skipper Hayley Matthews a little earlier.

  11. drinks break

West Indies 57-3 at drinkspublished at 10 overs

Chloe Tryon takes the pace off it with her fourth delivery to tempt Shemaine Campbelle from her crease. The West Indies wicketkeeper shuffles down and swings, and inside edges behind for a couple.

West Indies scrape to drinks without further loss.

  12. WI 52-3published at 9 overs

Stafanie Taylor times a beautiful drive past Annerie Dercksen for four off the South African seamer's fourth ball. She and Shemaine Campbelle milk a couple of singles to end the over.

It was catchable. It wasn't easy, but substitute fielder Seshnie Naidu got there and should have taken it.

  14. dropped catch

Campbelle dropped on sixpublished at 8.2 overs

Shemaine Campbelle cuts Annerie Dercksen on the up, and the ball flies at Seshnie Naidu who spills a diving effort.

  15. WI 43-3published at 8.1 overs

Another bowling change for South Africa as Annerie Dercksen is thrown the ball by Laura Wolvaardt.

A welcome boundary for Shemaine Campbelle, who cleverly opens the face and guides the ball through third for four.

Nonkululeko Mlaba gave a valiant dive on the boundary but could not stop it.

  16. WI 38-3published at 8 overs

Laura Wolvaardt shuffles her pack despite the clatter of wickets, bringing Nadine de Klerk into the attack.

Stafanie Taylor and Shemaine Campbelle, realising the precarious nature of the situation, wisely opt for a bit of tip and run. Six runs off the over

Marizanne Kapp knows how huge that wicket of Deandra Dottin is. She was looking good out there, but the gamble has paid off for Laura Wolvaardt and South Africa.

    Dottin c Wolvaardt b Kapp 13 (WI 32-3)

Oh Deandra Dottin. The experienced West Indies all-rounder gives her wicket away as Marizanne Kapp roars with delight.

Dottin drives on the up to a delivery outside off stump. She hits it sweetly enough, but straight into the hands of South Africa skipper Laura Wolvaardt at extra cover.

  19. WI 32-2published at 6.3 overs

Qiana Joseph struggled with the angles and swing of Ayabonga Khaka a little earlier. She was dropped on zero, but was on her way back to the dug out not longer afterwards.

Meanwhile, Marizanne Kapp offers a huge appeal after striking Deandra Dottin on the pad, but nobody else is interested.

Chloe Tryon just strayed down the leg side and Deandra Dottin had that lovely timing and flow of the bat to hit it. If she is in form, we are going to see a lot more boundaries today.
