That's very clever bowling from Nonkululeko Mlaba. She knows Qiana Joseph hasn't been able to get going and is not moving her feet at all. So Mlaba fired it in really quick with that new ball which skidded off this wicket which has more pace in it than the one in Sharjah.

I think South Africa will feel a little hard done by here because they've not got the wicket of Qiana Joseph yet.

  11. WI 15-1published at 3.3 overs

Deja vu from the first over as Ayabonga Khaka angles it across the Qiana Joseph. The West Indies flashes, is beaten by a beauty and the defends.

Joseph is struggling a little here.

Ayabonga Khaka is giving Qiana Joseph some width here, but the batter is not moving that front foot whatsoever. She's almost planted to the wicket.

There was a hint of swing for Marizanne Kapp in that first over and equally Ayabonga Khaka gets some movement through the air to the left-handed Qiana Joseph.

Khaka is angling the ball across Joseph, who keeps swinging and missing. Hayley Matthews come down for a little pep talk with her opening partner.

Joseph swings again at Khaka's fifth delivery. This time it takes he edge and the ball flies in the direction of the diving Chloe Tryon at a wide slip position but she shells the catch.

  18. WI 6-0published at 1 over

Hayley Matthews can be a bit of slow starter with the bat as she gets her eye in but looks in handy touch here as she cuts Marizanne Kapp through point for a couple more off the final ball of the over

I am excited to see Marizanne Kapp with this new ball. She had a tricky summer as she struggled in the Women's Big Bash League but was fabulous in The Hundred in England. She comes into this match in good form and will be looking for early wickets of the West Indies batters.

  20. WI 4-0published at 0.3 overs

South Africa all-rounder Marizanne Kapp, a feisty competitor, has sun cream smeared all over her face as she bounds in for the first over.
