  1. Close at Trent Bridgepublished at 18:14 14 April

    Notts 399 & 151-7 v Worcs 355 - Notts lead by 195

What a final session at Trent Bridge between Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire, which has made all three results possible on the final day.

Notts were cruising on 125-1 in their second innings, with Ben Duckett and Ben Slater both going well, before Nathan Smith stepped to the fore.

The New Zealander took four wickets in seven balls as part of a collapse of six wickets for 19 runs, putting Worcestershire right in this contest.

  2. WICKET: Borthwick c Burgess b Yates 7published at 18:12 14 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 10-2 (f-o)

How big could that wicket be?!

Scott Borthwick edges Rob Yates behind to the keeper and both Durham openers, who have the capability to go big and bat long, are out before the close.

  3. Stumps at The Ovalpublished at 18:11 14 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 204-6 – Somerset lead by 61 runs

Lewis Gregory (23) and Kasey Aldridge (20) have seen it through to the close of play and have given their side a slender lead to take into day four.

Earlier on, we saw Surrey make 428 in their first innings with Jamie Overton's 35 helping move the score along. Aldridge bowled well for his 5-64.

Lewis Goldsworthy (58) and Tom Lammonby (51) struck half-centuries for Somerset in their second innings.

  4. 'New opening partnership not worked'published at 18:10 14 April

    Hampshire 367 & 32-2 v Lancashire 484

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

I'm afraid Hampshire's new look opening partnership has not worked in this game.

A little bit of work to do next week against Warwickshire.

I'd much rather be Lancashire than Hampshire in this situation. I think Lancashire are not in a bad position.

  5. Postpublished at 18:09 14 April

    Notts 399 & 147-7 v Worcs 355

Into the final couple of overs in the day at Trent Bridge and you wouldn't put it past Worcestershire sneaking out another Notts batter before the close.

Adam Finch almost gets Lyndon James to edge behind in consecutive balls in the penultimate over of day three.

Whatever happens, we've got a fascinating final day in prospect.

  6. Close at Northantspublished at 18:08 14 April

    Northants 552-6 dec v Middlesex 553-2

Leus du Plooy's double hundred will have to wait until the morning - he goes to stumps on 196.

Max Holden is 211 not out and their third-wicket stand is worth exactly 350.

Middlesex have also snuck into a first-innings lead in that last over - they are ahead by one run!

  7. WICKET: Critchley b Parkinson 25published at 18:07 14 April

    Essex 530-7 dec & 166-4 v Kent 413

Matt Critchley gives his wicket away needlessly, chopping on to his stumps from Matt Parkinson's delivery.

He hit 25 off 22 balls and that's a first wicket of the innings for Parkinson.

    Essex's lead stands at 283.

    How many will they want?

  8. 200 up for Somersetpublished at 18:06 14 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 201-6

Lewis Gregory and Kasey Aldridge are building a nice little partnership.

The Somerset lead stands at 58 as they pass 200 runs in their second innings.

  9. 200 for Max Holdenpublished at 18:05 14 April

    Northants 552-6 dec v Middlesex 545-2

How many double hundreds have we seen this season?! It's incredible.

Max Holden becomes the latest batter to go past 200 - it's a maiden double ton for the 26-year-old.

    371 balls with 16 fours.

Batting partner Leus du Plooy is only six away from that landmark himself.

  10. WICKET: Orr c Hurst b Williams 13published at 18:05 14 April

    Hampshire 367 & 32-2 v Lancashire 484

Will Williams has now removed both Hampshire openers and it's a very important breakthrough with fewer than five overs of the third day remaining.

Ali Orr tries to steer one behind square on the off side, but can only edge it behind to Matty Hurst.

Kyle Abbott is in as nightwatchman for the home side, who trail by 85.

  11. 'Crikey - what a game we're getting here!'published at 18:04 14 April

    Notts 399 & 146-7 v Worcs 355 - Notts lead by 190

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham

We've seen that a lot - a player not playing a shot and losing the off stump.

A real error of misjudgement from Calvin Harrison for the first time in the match, that's the first time he's made the wrong decision.

A lovely bit of bowling from Adam Finch. Crikey - what a game we're getting here!

  12. Yorkshire take second wicketpublished at 18:02 14 April

    Gloucs 53-2 (target 498) v Yorkshire

Big wicket for Matt Milnes, big wicket for Yorkshire.

Gloucestershire opener Cameron Bancroft pushes forward at a full one and snicks through to the keeper.

Yorkshire will want at least another one tonight with the forecast looking very mixed for the final day.

  13. Postpublished at 18:00 14 April

    Notts 399 & 145-7 v Worcs 355

Worcestershire understandably have their tails up and are threatening with seemingly every ball.

Josh Baker is finding some nice drift and turn with his left-arm spin.

Four overs of the day to go in the sunshine at Trent Bridge.

  14. 'Finch has joined the party'published at 18:00 14 April

    Notts 399 & 145-7 v Worcs 355 - Notts lead by 188

    Jim Dale
    BBC Hereford and Worcester

Adam Finch has joined the party and Worcestershire are on a roll.

  15. 50 for Jordan Coxpublished at 17:58 14 April

    Essex 530-7 dec & 153-3 v Kent 413

Wow! Jordan Cox really has his eye in now.

He moves to 50 from just 52 balls and reaches the milestone in style with a huge six off Jaydn Denly.

Poor Jaydn - that was his first ball!

  16. Postpublished at 17:57 14 April

    Hampshire 367 & 24-1 v Lancashire 484

Three maidens on the spin - pardon the pun - for Nathan Lyon but Hampshire are keeping him at bay for now.

    Seven overs remain today.

At the other end, Tom Bailey, usually a seamer, is bowling off spin.

  17. WICKET: Harrison b Finch 3published at 17:53 14 April

    Notts 399 & 144-7 v Worcs 355 - Notts lead by 188

Adam Finch gets in on the act!

Calvin Harrison leaves alone and sees his off stump cartwheel out of the ground behind him.

Nottinghamshire's collapse is now at six wickets for 19 runs.

  18. Postpublished at 17:51 14 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 2-1 (f-o)

Will Rhodes is sharing the new ball with Oliver Hannon-Dalby at Edgbaston.

That's because Chris Rushworth is struggling with a slight calf problem.

  19. Six for Jordan Coxpublished at 17:51 14 April

    Essex 530-7 dec & 125-3 v Kent 413

    Jordan CoxImage source, Rex Features

Jordan Cox seems to be going after Matt Parkinson.

After those consecutive fours earlier he's gone one better on this occasion with a four followed by a six.

There's another four later in the over and that was an expensive one from Parkinson, with 19 coming from it.

Cox is on 38 from 47 balls and has played some lovely shots.

  20. 'Harrison is going to need something special'published at 17:49 14 April

    Notts 399 & 143-6 v Worcs 355

    Grace Ballinger
The Blaze bowler on BBC Radio Nottingham

It's been a good few days for Calvin Harrison but he's going to need something special here to get his team out of trouble.
