Joe Clarke got a century for Nottinghamshire in the first innings - but he's gone second ball in the second!

Two wickets in three balls for Nathan Smith, but this one was all about a stunning diving catch away to his left by wicketkeeper Gareth Roderick.

Suddenly this game has sparked to life...

  5. WICKET: Middleton c Hurst b Williams 1published at 17:15 14 April

    Hampshire 367 & 6-1 v Lancashire 484

    Notts 399 & 125-2 v Worcs 355 - lead by 169

Like his England team-mates Joe Root and Harry Brook earlier, Ben Duckett reaches a half-century but is unable to convert it into three figures.

Nathan Smith comes around the wicket and gets a touch of extra bounce, Duckett pops one up in the air and Rob Jones takes a diving catch at square leg.

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 152-5

Dan Lawrence finds the edge of James Rew's bat and Jamie Overton has to bend down to take a smart catch on his bootlaces - not bad for a man of his height!

  8. Postpublished at 17:09 14 April

    Hampshire 367 & 2-0 v Lancashire 484

In the second over of the innings, Will Williams probes at a fourth-stump line with a bit of away movement. Fletcha Middleton has a nibble at a couple but the Hampshire opener survives.

A maiden over and a good start by Williams.

  9. 'Raine has batted well'published at 17:06 14 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 482-7

    Phil Britt
    BBC Coventry & Warwickshire

Ben Raine has batted well, I've been impressed with the way that he's hit the ball.

He's ridden his luck a little bit, but effectively.

  10. Postpublished at 17:06 14 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 482-7

Ben Raine is inching towards what would be his second first-class hundred - the Durham number eight is up to 85 not out.

His innings has contained eight fours and four sixes.

But still another 67 required to avoid the follow-on.

  11. Early wicket for Yorkshirepublished at 17:04 14 April

    Division Two latest

Yorkshire have picked up the first of 10 wickets they need to beat Gloucestershire with Ben Coad getting Chris Dent cheaply.

Gloucestershire are 7-1 needing a very unlikely 498 to win.

The run-fest continues at Northants where Middlesex are now 451-2 with Max Holden and Leus du Plooy both going past 150.

Leicestershire have begun their second innings after conceding 694 with the ball against Sussex. They're 19-0 and still need another 337 to avoid an innings defeat.

Chris Cooke and James Harris have put on 86 for Glamorgan's eighth wicket against Derbyshire. Glamorgan lead by 370.

  12. Somerset take the leadpublished at 17:02 14 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 144-4

Lewis Goldsworthy (50) and James Rew (15) have seen off the deficit and put Somerset into the lead, by one run.

  13. 'Conditions might make it difficult for Hampshire openers'published at 17:01 14 April

    Hampshire 367 & 0-0 v Lancashire 484

    Melissa Story
    BBC Radio Solent

It looked at some stages today that Lancashire's innings was never going to end and that a declaration was on the cards, but we've seen a few more wickets already after tea.

Actually when you consider the conditions around us - a couple of floodlights coming back on, there's cloud cover above, it's a little bit colder.

Even with this Kookaburra ball, it might be a slightly difficult period for the Hampshire openers to deal with.

  14. Postpublished at 17:01 14 April

    Hampshire 367 & 0-0 v Lancashire 484

Ali Orr and Fletcha Middleton are heading out to the middle with Hampshire facing a deficit of 117.

There are 21 overs left to be bowled on day three, with Tom Bailey taking the new ball.

It could be the most pivotal hour and a bit of cricket in this contest.

  15. 50 for Lewis Goldsworthypublished at 16:54 14 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 137-4

An important half-century for his team from Lewis Goldsworthy.

Tom Lammonby looked good for his own half-century earlier on but only made 51 so Goldsworthy will want to improve upon his team mate's effort.

  16. WICKET: Elgar lbw Garrett 34published at 16:54 14 April

    Essex 530-7 dec & 56-2 v Kent 413

George Garrett goes round the wicket and smashes a delivery into the turf which rears up and hits Dean Elgar's pads in front of the stumps.

It looks plumb so Elgar has no complaints.

  17. A Glamorgan milestonepublished at 16:53 14 April

    Glamorgan 300-7 (lead by 339) v Derbyshire

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Chris Cooke's century was the 1,000th first-class century recorded by Glamorgan in their 104th season as a first-class county.

  18. 50 for Ben Duckettpublished at 16:53 14 April

    Notts 399 & 103-1 v Worcs 355

Notts and England opener Ben Duckett gets to 50 for the first time in the County Championship this season.

His 73rd ball is driven straight down the ground for four and the left-hander can raise his bat to those in attendance at Trent Bridge.

  19. Lancashire all out for 484published at 16:51 14 April

    Hampshire 367 v Lancashire 484 - Lancs lead by 117

James Fuller gets Jack Blatherwick caught behind and Lancashire are all out for 484, with a first-innings lead of 117.

Keaton Jennings was the star of the show with 172, while George Bell was run out one short of a maiden first-class century.

Lancashire lost their final four wickets for 27 runs, and now they'll have just over an hour to try to make inroads through Hampshire's top order.

  20. Postpublished at 16:49 14 April

    Hampshire 367 v Lancashire 484-9

Liam Dawson's first ball to Nathan Lyon goes off the pads for four byes, and Lyon follows that with two hits to the boundary.

Told you it might be fun.
