It looked good. It's another wicket for Charlie Dean, who's been exceptional this evening.

I think this looks pretty good. Unless she's got some bat on it, I'm not sure what's saving her.

  2. Umpire reviewpublished at 15.1 overs

    Ind 126-5

Looks like Charlie Dean has another wicket.

It's another lbw and Deepti Sharma is the victim this time.

The India batter reviews. Is it missing the stumps?

It is much closer now but India remain favourites on WinViz despite England's fightback in the middle overs...

One thing India have done really well is increase their batting depth.

I think they want 150 minimum. Maybe a bit more if they get a partnership.

  5. Ind 124-5published at 15 overs

Richa Ghosh whacks Issy Wong over mid-on and just about manages to clear the fielder there and rolls away to the boundary.

Eight runs off Wong's third over.

The slowest seven deliveries of Wong's first two overs have gone for 27. The quickest six (including a wide) have conceded just four.

  7. Ind 116-5published at 14 overs

Charlie Dean brings to conclusion an excellent over.

Five runs and a wicket coming off it.

Issy Wong has the ball in her hand now. She will be looking to make amends after an expensive over in her previous attempt.

A superb catch by Maia Bouchier at cow corner. That's Shafali Verma gone. It took a moment of magic there and you can see how much it means.

Bouchier is remarkable on the boundary.

Just throw yourself at it, you never know. It's a good catch from Maia Bouchier. We've seen her drop so many simple catches but she's committed to that and taken it, and that's what we want to see from this England team.

Moments like that change the game. England have got a real opportunity of slowing things down and stopping India getting 180.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.1 overs

    Verma c Bouchier b Dean 75 (Ind 111-5)

What a grab from Maia Bouchier!

England's fielding has been criticised in recent times, but that is world-class stuff from Bouchier.

Shafali Verma tires to hit another big one but Bouchier, fielding near the rope, dives to her right and plucks it. And the reward is the crucial wicket of Verma.

Shafali Verma has scored 18 off the six slower deliveries the England seamers have bowled to her.

  12. Ind 111-4published at 13 overs

Wicket-keeper Richa Ghosh joins Shafali Verma in the middle.

England would be desperate to remove Verma and really assert their control here.

It's so out. Great review. That was a review out of "oh well, I'm a batter".

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.3 overs

    Deol lbw b Ecclestone 4 (Ind 109-4)

It's all reds and Sophie Ecclestone strikes.

Harleen Deol makes the slow walk back to the dugout, scoring four runs and wasting a review for her side.

The slow finger of death from umpire Jackie Williams.

India do send this one upstairs. Shafali Verma speaking to Harleen Deol there and maybe saying why did you send that upstairs?

I'll be very very surprised if that is not cannoning into the stumps.

  17. Umpire reviewpublished at 12.3 overs

    Ind 109-3

Sophie Ecclestone traps Harleen Deol in front of the wicket.

And the umpire's finger goes up.

But Deol has asked for a review here.

  18. Ind 108-3published at 12 overs

England are under pressure and Em Arlott bowls a delivery that drifts down the leg side and beats everyone to race away to the boundary. Freebies for India.

We've already had one century from an Indian opener this series.

Shafali Verma is the definition of batting with confidence.

  20. Ind 100-3published at 11.4 overs

It looked like Em Arlott was about to bowl a good over.

But that was until Shafali Verma whacked her fourth delivery to boundary over long-on.

It brings up India's 100 and Verma moves into her 70s.
