Jofra Archer speaking to Sky Sports on tonight's victory: "Just relief to be honest. I thought I gave it away, second last over against Livi."

On clarity during super five: "Yeah, I feel you just got to commit to it. Some days it happens for you and some days it doesn’t and I’m just glad that today was one of those days it worked for me."

Any energy left?: Yeah, absolutely, I think we got 11 match winners and the guys that are not in the 11, they are match winners themselves, so the team has so much talent it doesn’t matter what team we put out there, I back the guys all the way.

Plans tonight?: Probably the compression boots, lots of physio and maybe some meds.

It was pretty thrilling in the end!

Southern Brave will be breathing a deep sigh of relief there because, at some stages, they really didn't deserve to be progressing through to this final. They will know they can take on the Oval Invincibles with their line-up and star power.

    It had everything!

Throughout Phoenix's chase of 127, the momentum shifted throughout as both teams went through phases of domination.

Southern Brave squeezed in the middle, Liam Livingstone then dragged things back for Phoenix with his half-century before a baffling final five balls from Akeal Hosein.

With 11 needed, his first ball conceded eight (no-ball, six) but then he removed Livingstone, and defended three from three balls to take it to the Super Five!

Phoenix will be gutted. They threw that away.

It is quite remarkable, isn't it? The fact that Birmingham Phoenix have thrown it away, from the position they found themselves in, will have been a devastating blow towards the end of the normal game.

It looks as though they had carried that through onto the Super 5. They played well in this tournament but they faltered at the final hurdle.

Yorker, scampered single, hesitation... and Duckett throws to the wrong end!

    Chaos.

    That should've been out.

There is still a long way to go but Birmingham Phoenix had it in their hands.

They needed three runs from five deliveries and they tied the game - remarkable.

  14. Phoenix 7-2published at 5 balls

Jacob Bethell is run out coming back for the second.

An exhibition in death bowling from Jofra Archer there.

Southern Brave need eight runs from five balls to reach the final.

    Well!

Liam Livingstone slashes it to Leus du Plooy at point and that's a spectacular effort.

It was going so quickly off Archer's pace, and he does so well to stay still.

Remember, Du Plooy dropped Livingstone on seven earlier on...

Jofra Archer has the ball in hand.

I think he's been in a situation like this before, right...?

Well, Liam Livingstone is back out there for Phoenix, unsurprisingly. He's got Jamie Smith for company.

Livingstone was seeing it pretty well in his 55 earlier. He got out with just three runs needed to win, so he'll be itching to put things right now.
