  1. Phoenix 110-5published at 10 balls left

    Need 17 from 10 balls

    Four!

Slammed through the covers by Livingstone.

    A tense finish coming up!

  2. Phoenix 104-5published at 12 balls left

Sharp single to get Livingstone back on strike, and James Vince misses the run out chance!

Think Livingstone's dive might've saved him, just.

It's still pretty chaotic out there! 22 from 12 is the equation...

Frenetic from Dan Mousley there. The field was set up for him to play that shot because, had he got it, it would either have to carry for six or go straight over the wicket-keeper's head. Otherwise he would have been in a great spot of bother anyway.

He is frustrated and sprinting up the steps there. I can imagine he's going to tear shreds out of the dressing room. He doesn't look a happy bunny.

    Mousley b Archer 2 (Phoenix 102-5)

Oh dear. Dan Mousley will not want to watch this one back.

It's the last ball of Jofra Archer's spell, and Mousley goes for an audacious ramp shot from a full delivery. He completely misses and sees his stumps splattered, shifting the momentum back once more to the Brave.

This is exactly the type of contest you want at the back end of a tournament. Two elite cricketers and when they are on form in white ball cricket, they are about as good as it gets. This will be a fascinating contest between Jofra Archer and Liam Livingstone.

Jofra Archer has been hit over the rope three times today - he hasn't had it all his way at all.

  6. Phoenix 99-4published at 17 balls left

    Target 127

Dot ball, two, and then it just drops short of long-on as Livingstone continues to ride his luck!

It's all happening out there. Neither side looks particularly composed right now.

  7. Phoenix 97-4published at 20 balls left

30 runs from the final 20 balls.

    Livingstone is 35 not out.

    Straightforward, right?

It has all turned around very quickly, hasn't it? That drop from Leus du Plooy at deep backward square leg was a tough chance, but I think it would've been an excellent take.

Southern Brave can certainly claw their way back into this game. The thing that we're going to have to look at is the denominations of bowlers that are left to bowl. There are a few balls to divvy around, but I think it's going to be touch and go.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 25 balls left

    Bethell c Pollard b Mills 17 (Phoenix 93-4)

    Another twist!

Tymal Mills draws a false shot from Jacob Bethell, who skies one up to Kieron Pollard at long-on.

Birmingham Phoenix were cruising, but that's just shifted the momentum once more. This one's going down to the wire.

    34 from 25 needed.

Here is one of those sixes.

    The timing is supreme.

I tell you what - Liam Livingstone has hit two of the most impressive sixes I have ever seen in my life!

One of them went out of Headingley onto the rugby pitch. The other one, just then, clatters that TV. I have never seen anyone hit that before. That was absolutely massive.

That is massive from Liam Livingstone! He swings so hard he almost knocks himself over!

That's gone 90 metres into the Oval crowd - he steps outside leg, heaves it, connects and it goes flying.

  14. 6 runs

Phoenix 89-3published at 30 balls left

    Target 127

    And another!

That is huge. Liam Livingstone gets it right out the middle of the bat and right into the stands.

The momentum swings again - Birmingham Phoenix are on the charge.

    That's one way to respond.

Jofra Archer is going to be fuming when he sees this on the replay because he says: "No, this is going down the leg side" and it does.

  17. Not outpublished at 34 balls left

Pitching outside the line and missing leg stump.

    Other than that, great shout.

  18. Brave reviewpublished at 34 balls left

Southern Brave go for an ambitious review for lbw against Jacob Bethell.

There was barely a celebration when it happened in real time, so I'm not sure this one has much going for it.
