    Kent 393 & 55-4 v Glos 472 & 333-5 dec

After that near thing a few moments ago, Zak Crawley and Joey Evison are still not on the same wavelength when it comes to running between the wickets.

But Crawley denies Tom Price a maiden by clipping a no-ball to square leg for a couple of runs, then adds a single to move to 28 not out.

Price has 4-33 from this 10-over spell.

  2. Postpublished at 16:58 British Summer Time

    Warwicks 93 & 176-6 v Notts 367

Josh Tongue continues to look the most likely to provide this elusive breakthrough for Nottinghamshire.

With his third ball of the 20th over, Oliver Hannon-Dalby pops one up but it doesn't carry to mid-wicket and the Bears live to fight another over.

17 overs remaining, still four wickets left to get.

    Kent 393 & 49-4 v Glos 472 & 333-5 dec

    What is going on.

Zak Crawley pushes into the off-side, sets off for one, is sent back by Joey Evison and has to dive full length to avoid being run out.

  4. Postpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time

    Warwicks 93 & 176-6 v Notts 367

Josh Tongue continues to race in and it's finally a loose stroke from Oliver Hannon-Dalby, but the ball runs away past fourth slip and goes for four streaky runs.

That boundary means Warwickshire's deficit has gone down to double digits - they now trail by just the 98 runs.

    What a catch!

Tom Price, in his ninth over of this spell, finds a little extra lift and Cameron Bancroft flies to his left at second slip to take a one-handed catch to send Jack Leaning on his way.

Anxiety levels increasing in the Kent dressing room.

  6. Postpublished at 16:47 British Summer Time

    Warwicks 93 & 170-6 v Notts 367

We've had an hour now at Edgbaston and Nottinghamshire are still to make the breakthrough.

In that time, Warwickshire have mustered seven runs - and four of those were byes.

  7. 'The rain radar offers Warwickshire hope'published at 16:46 British Summer Time

    Warwicks 93 & 170-6 v Notts 367

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

There's been 10 maidens out of 13 so far in this session.

Without putting any particular stress on it at this point, the rain radar offers Warwickshire hope that they might not need 23 overs.

But for the time being Ed Barnard and Olly Hannon-Dalby are taking them as comfortably as they could in these circumstances.

  8. Postpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time

    Lancs 263 & 31-3 v Leics 491-8d

Marcus Harris has looked assured so far since returning today and hits two boundaries to take him on to 13 not out.

20 overs remaining at least here. Leicestershire needing seven wickets.

  9. 'I was impressed with Booth'published at 16:44 British Summer Time

    Warwicks 93 & 170-6 v Notts 367

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

Stars of this particular match up to this point, certainly for Notts with the bowling in the first innings - Brett Hutton five wickets, Fergus O'Neill five wickets.

And then Notts when batted it was an unbeaten 138 from captain Haseeb Hameed who carried his bat and five wickets for Michael Booth who kept going and going.

I was very impressed with Michael Booth actually. He was just what the skipper wanted, somebody to just keep running in with great energy and great belief that he was going to get a wicket with every ball.

  10. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 16:41 British Summer Time

    Lancs 263 & 21-3 v Leics 491-8d

Terrific bowling from Ian Holland, who finds the edge of Josh Bohannon's bat and the ball goes flying behind him.

It's a sharp chance for wicket-keeper Ben Cox, who goes at it one-handed, but it just goes down.

    That one definitely carried.

Gloucestershire haven't given this one up yet.

Tom Price nips one back off the seam and has his third wicket as Tawanda Muyeye falls leg-before.

Still 25 and a bit overs for Kent to survive for the draw.

    Warwicks 93 & 166-6 v Notts 367

Not much to update you on at Edgbaston.

Another Josh Tongue over ends in a maiden before Farhan Ahmed's spin is well blocked by Oliver Hannon-Dalby six times in a row.

That means there's been 10 maidens from 13 overs.

23 overs remaining for Notts. Four wickets still left to find.

  17. SUSSEX DRAW WITH SURREYpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time

    Sussex 435 & 132-0 v Surrey 490

Surrey continue their quest for a first County Championship win this season following a third successive draw.

Chances of the reigning champions putting pressure on their hosts on the final day evaporated when they lost their last seven wickets for 100 runs in the morning session.

Daniel Hughes and Tom Haines' first-wicket partnership of 132 ensured no result could be reached today and after the umpires went off tea early, it looked likely that the players would not return to the field with clouds covering Hove.

Surrey take 15 points and Sussex take 14, with both sides remaining unbeaten after three matches.
