South Africa are not giving anything away and are just trying to build a little bit of pressure.

Kapp is cramping Amy Jones for room but it's not panic stations for them out in the middle; England have their run-rate well and truly under control.

  2. Eng 93-4published at 13 overs

South Africa are desperate to break this partnership so Laura Wolvaardt decides to bowl out Marizanne Kapp and not leave one back for the death.

Kapp comes steaming in, giving it everything, but she cannot make the breakthrough.

She ends with figures of 3-23 but a failure to get a fourth will rankle.

England have taken control of this run chase. Tammy Beaumont is batting so well, using her feet to perfection. She has helped England recover well after those early Kapp wickets.

  4. Eng 90-4published at 12 overs

Chloe Tryon brings a bit of control and her tight line and length is tricky for England to get away. But they know they don't need fireworks so are content with four singles, with a wide chucked in for good measure.

In a T20 match, this total seems a walk in the park, it's just a run a ball but every wicket lost really does change things dramatically.

Beautiful shot from Tammy Beaumont. The timing and placement is spot on as she guides the ball down through deep third for four.

The momentum seems to be tipping England's way. The equation is 67 from 72.

Marizanne Kapp is back into the attack to try and break this partnership. This is a key moment in this chase.

Amy Jones is in superb form when chasing in 2024. In T20s this year she averages a very healthy 35 in chases, compared to just 18 when batting first.

  9. Eng 75-4published at 10 overs

    Target 152 from 23 overs

Good shot from Amy Jones as she strides forward and clubs Nadine de Klerk over deep mid-wicket for four.

She attempts the same shot the next ball but it squirts off the inside edge. Still, they run a single to make it nine from the over.

No surprises it's Marizanne Kapp doing the damage with the new ball. In ODI cricket in 2024, she has nine wickets at an average of 9.00, the joint-most wickets this year in the opening phase. In T20 cricket in 2024, nobody has more than her 30 wickets in the Powerplay.

    Thanks, Ffion.

There is no perfect way to revise a total after a weather delay, but England can consider themselves to a bit unluckily with the equation here.

If Tammy Beaumont keeps on going they have a chance, but there is little room for manoeuvre.

  12. Eng 66-4published at 9 overs

    Target 152

England manage to take 11 from the over but Chloe Tryon gets an important strike.

Can Tammy Beaumont anchor the side to victory? She holds the key at the moment - and here's the return of Tom Mallows to take you through the rest of the innings.

A great comeback from Chloe Tryon after getting hit for four from her first two balls. She gave Wyatt-Hodge no option and gets her reward.

    Wyatt-Hodge lbw b Tryon 22 (Eng 63-4)

Big! A poor review, with ball-tracking showing that it was hitting middle and leg.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge was trying to keep England's momentum going with a cheeky paddle over her shoulder but Chloe Tryon skidded it in quicker, and gets the reward.

Wyatt-Hodge goes for an entertaining 22 from 16 balls but she looks frustrated to have thrown that away.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge tried the paddle and got in a tangle. England's recovery will take a significant dent here if she is out.

    There's no bat...

  17. Eng reviewpublished at 8.3 overs

    The perfect response?

Danni Wyatt-Hodge is given out lbw this time, missing a paddle sweep, but sends it upstairs. Umpire's call will not save her if it comes down to it.

  18. Eng 63-3published at 8.2 overs

    Chloe Tryon, don't bowl there.

Twice she goes short and wide to Danni Wyatt-Hodge, which is asking for trouble. Both are crunched for four.

Tammy Beaumont is one of the best players of the short game. You can see the aggression in her eyes today, but England do need a little bit more of a platform at the moment.

  20. Eng 55-3published at 8 overs

    Target 152

Tammy Beaumont is batting like somebody with a point to prove. Like somebody who might want her T20 opening spot back, perhaps?

She skips down the pitch and lofts Masabata Klaas for another sweetly-timed boundary.

Beaumont has 28 from 19 balls.
