I was just beginning to write about this being a quiet over, with Keacy Carty and Brandon King happy to trade singles.
However, Will Jacks' final ball is too short and deservedly punished for four by Carty.

This West Indies pair really are riding their luck today. Three dropped catches and now two runout chances survived.
Ben Duckett lofts his throw from mid-on to Jos Buttler and that gives Brandon King time to dive to safety. Several England players are on the floor in disbelief. Opportunity missed.

This has got all the makings of a very good game after the pounding West Indies got at Edgbaston.
For an over which only yielded one run, it was an action-packed six balls.
Carty narrowly survived both a runout chance and an injury. There was a bump-ball catch cheered (mistakenly) with gusto. And then the half-century for Brandon King.
A thoroughly enjoyable game so far.
