  1. Leicestershire declare on 343-9published at 15:30 26 May

    Leics 343-9 v Glamorgan 387

Well that took everyone by surprise.

Tom Scriven takes a single off Mason Crane to take the score to 343-9 and then the players leave the field.

Is it raining? No, the Foxes have declared, 44 runs adrift.

  2. 100 for Sam Robsonpublished at 15:29 26 May

    Middx 231-3 v Sussex 554-9 dec

With all the wickets falling and rain interruptions, we failed to celebrate Sam Robson reaching his 34th first-class century.

He reached it from 191 balls by using his feet to get to the pitch before clipping Jack Carson to mid-wicket for four.

Can you believe it is now 10 years since Robson won his seven Test caps for England? Players didn't get as many chances to prove themselves in those days.

  3. Lawrence on the attackpublished at 15:28 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 81-4 - trail by 400

Felix Organ is the man of the moment and has three of the four wickets to fallm but Dan Lawrence doesn't seem to care.

He reverse sweeps his first ball for four and then sends the next ball to the boundary.

Lawrence then comes down the wicket to the first ball of Organ's next over and thrashes a third successive boundary off the spinner.

A single then takes the deficit down to exactly 400.

  4. WICKET Denly c Beard b Critchley 87published at 15:22 26 May

    Kent 285-6 v Essex 591-7 dec

What price this wicket for Essex?

Joe Denly comes down the wicket to Matt Critchley, but he doesn't get all of it and he fails to clear mid-on.

He falls 13 short of a century and now Essex will hope to run through the Kent lower order.

  5. 'Another big wicket for Hants'published at 15:21 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 68-4 - trail by 413

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Another big wicket for Hampshire and another for Felix Organ.

    He has that knack.

  6. WICKET Currie lbw b Harris 45published at 15:21 26 May

    Leics 342-9 v Glamorgan 387

Scott Currie's hopes of back-to-back half-centuries are dashed as he plays forward to James Harris and is trapped bang in front.

He came in as nightwatchman yesterday and has occupied 111 balls. So job done.

Glamorgan just need one more and look set for a narrow lead.

    Matt Salisbury is in.

  7. Rain stops play at Northamptonpublished at 15:21 26 May

    Northamptonshire 301 v Yorkshire 362 & 156-5

    Shan MasoodImage source, Rex Features

Five balls into Siddarth Kaul's latest over and here come the covers as the umpires decide it is raining too hard to continue - and the teams will have tea.

Despite the hold-up, this game between two winless teams is intriguingly poised.

Yorkshire lead by 217, but if Northants can restrict their fourth-innings chase to under 300, they will fancy their chances.

Shan Masood is 82 not out despite a sore wrist, having struck three sixes and eight fours in his 108-ball knock so far.

  8. WICKET Smith b Organ 9published at 15:18 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 68-4 - trail by 413

A third wicket for Felix Organ and Surrey are unravelling.

Jamie Smith plays a gorgeous cover drive for four but next ball he's gone.

He plays back deep in his crease to a ball which Organ pitches in the rough and turns past Smith'ss outside edge and knocks the off stump back.

Dan Lawrence joins Ben Foakes, with Surrey still more than 400 away from making Hampshire bat a second time.

  9. Postpublished at 15:17 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 64-3 - trail by 417

Ben Foakes is moving a little gingerly as he plays out a maiden to Liam Dawson's ninth over.

He drops the ball at his feet and can then hardly move his front foot forward to prod the ball to the ball to short leg.

England don't have a Test match until July so there's a fair chunk of time to recuperate.

  10. WICKET Yates c Hurst b Balderson 5published at 15:17 26 May

    Lancashire 149 v Warwickshire 284 & 15-1

There is not much Rob Yates can do about this.

George Balderson hits the right length on or around fourth stump where it really lifts and takes the edge of Yates' bat.

Yates may rue that dismissal, but with a lead of exactly 150, Warwickshire won't mind seeing that too much.

  11. Postpublished at 15:15 26 May

    Northants 301 v Yorks 362 & 153-5

It looks like more rain may be on the way at Wantage Road.

Will Luxton is beaten by a good one from Justin Broad but drives the next square to get off the mark with four.

  12. Postpublished at 15:14 26 May

    Kent 278-5 v Essex 591-7 dec

Back-to-back boundaries for Harry Finch off Simon Harmer is a good show of intent.

Harmer just hasn't been able to build up the pressure as he normally does.

    It's 0-87 from his 26 overs.

  13. Latest from Bristolpublished at 15:13 26 May

    Glos 399-4 v Derbys 526

There hasn't been any play at Bristol since about 12:45.

Umpires Naeem Ashraf and Paul Pollard have taken a look and decided to hold a further inspection at 16:00 BST.

It's a real shame because Graeme van Buuren and James Bracey provided some great entertainment this morning.

  14. 50 partnershippublished at 15:09 26 May

    Kent 267-5 v Essex 591-7 dec

Harry Finch and Joe Denly complete a 50 stand for Kent's sixth wicket.

They are really making Essex toil with the ball.

Finch is on 24, while Denly is 20 away from a century.

  15. WICKET Hill c McManus b Kaul 4published at 15:08 26 May

    Northants 301 v Yorkshire 362 & 146-5

    Siddarth KaulImage source, Getty Images

Siddarth Kaul is proving pretty expensive today but Northants won't mind about that if he is taking wickets.

Having been thumped over long-on for four and then been driven square by George Hill for another, Kaul responds with an excellent leg-cutter which the latter nicks to the keeper.

The Yorkshire lead is 207 with just five wickets remaining.

  16. Davies continues on merry waypublished at 15:07 26 May

    Lancashire 149 v Warwickshire 284 & 6-0

With a first innings lead of 135, Alex Davies' 127 not out to carry his bat only grows in significance.

He shows his confidence as he crashes his second ball in his second knock through the covers for four off Tom Bailey.

Davies will be enjoying this match against his old county very much.

  17. WICKET Pope b Organ 21published at 15:04 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 63-3 - trail by 418

    Felix OrganImage source, Rex Features

Big wicket - Surrey are in a huge hole now.

Felix Organ finds some big turn to take his second wicket.

The off-spinner gets one to fizz through the gap between the bat and pad of Ollie Pope and onto middle stump. Wicket maiden.

Surrey trail by 418 and Ben Foakes defies his painful back to join Jamie Smith at the crease.

  18. Postpublished at 15:04 26 May

    Middx 193-3 v Sussex 554-9 dec

Contrasting boundaries for Ryan Higgins off Jayden Seales to open his account.

The first is flashed just out of the reach of second slip, but the second is pulled with authority through the leg-side.

  19. Inspections duepublished at 15:03 26 May

All eyes on the umpires as await 3pm inspections at both Bristol and Worcester.

We've had no play at all at New Road - that's five sessions lost so far in the match to rain.

  20. 'A healthy lead for the Bears'published at 15:02 26 May

    Lancashire 149 all out v Warwickshire 284

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

The spinners for Warwickshire - Jake Lintott and Jacob Bethell have done a very fine job.

So 149 all out and a very healthy looking first innings lead for Warwickshire of 135 runs.
