  1. WICKET Wharton lbw Broad 20published at 15:01 26 May

    Northants 301 v Yorkshire 362 & 135-4

The second change pays off for Northants as Justin Broad strikes with his third delivery.

The umpire had a good look at that before deciding to send James Wharton on his way.

He put on 67 for Yorkshire's third wicket with Shan Masood.

  2. Postpublished at 14:58 26 May

    Northants 301 v Yorkshire 362 & 137-3

Back to back sixes over mid-wicket for Shan Masood at the start of a new spell by Siddarth Kaul.

The Indian doesn't have the zip to bowl that sort of length and Masood is now 73 not out.

Justin Broad will return at the other end in a double switch by the home side.

  3. Batting point for Kentpublished at 14:57 26 May

    Kent 253-5 v Essex 591-7 dec

Aaron Beard gifts a leg-stump half-volley to Joe Denly, which the batter just guides down to fine leg for four.

That sees Kent bring up the 250 and get a first batting point.

With it coming in the 98th over, it may be the only one they get.

  4. Five-wicket haul for Timm van der Gugtenpublished at 14:55 26 May

    Mike b van der Gugten 0 - Leics 327-8 v Glamorgan 387

Three balls after catching Ben Cox off his own bowling, Timm van der Gugten removes Ben Mike for a four-ball duck.

An inside edge hits the batter's pad than cannons into the off stump.

It's a two-wicket maiden and the paceman now has figures of 5-60. It may get better yet.

Tom Scriven cannot bowl for the rest of the match after picking up an injury, but can wield a bat.

  5. LANCASHIRE ALL OUT FOR 149published at 14:54 26 May

    Lancashire 149 all out v Warwickshire 284

Last man Jack Morley was just out there trying to survive but after 11 balls, he perishes.

He tries a sweep off Jake Lintott and is plumb LBW. Lancashire's innings has subsided from 113-4 just before lunch.

Lintott ends with 3-10 to go with Jacob Bethell's 4-20.

Warwickshire lead by 135 runs at the halfway stage.

  6. WICKET Du Plooy c Lamb b Seales 25published at 14:51 26 May

    Middx 185-3 v Sussex 554-9 dec

Leus du Plooy checks a pull shot off Jayden Seales and Danny Lamb doesn't have to move at deep backward square to take the catch.

His only concern was the possibility of stepping back onto the rope, but he's safely inside it as leather meets palms.

  7. WICKET Cox c and b van der Gugten 24published at 14:51 26 May

    Leics 327-7 v Glamorgan 387

    Super catch!

Leicestershire had become bogged down, and that's putting it mildly.

Ben Cox decides to push firmly at a straight ball from Timm van der Gugten.

The tall fast bowler does wonderfully to get down and take a two-handed catch an inch off the ground.

Ben Mike is in to join Scott Currie who has 34 from 90 balls.

  8. Six!published at 14:48 26 May

    Northants 301 v Yorkshire 362 & 119-3

Shan Masood's wrist may be troubling him but he's still capable to lofting Rob Keogh straight down the ground for six.

A top-class shot and Masood is now 63 not out. Ben Sanderson apart, the Northants attack is looking short of ideas at the moment.

    The Yorkshire lead is 180.

  9. WICKET Sibley c Albert b Organ 20published at 14:48 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 50-2 - trail by 431

    Hampshire have another!

A ball after reaching fifty, Surrey lose Dom Sibley who pushes forward to Felix Organ and gets an inside edge.

It pops up to Toby Albert at short leg who does the rest.

Jamie Smith comes to the crease and Surrey are in a spot of bother.

  10. 50 up for Surreypublished at 14:47 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 50-1 - trail by 431

Ollie Pope flicks Felix Organ backward of square leg to bring up the fifty for Surrey in the 28th over for the loss of skipper Rory Burns.

It's been hard going out there as you would expect from a team going out to bat 481 behind on first innings.

  11. 50 stand for Yorkshirepublished at 14:45 26 May

    Northants 301 v Yorks 362 & 118-3

James Wharton runs Ben Sanderson down to third man - there are three runs there and that is a 50 partnership with Shan Masood from 72 balls.

Masood defends the final ball of the over, that wrist problem is still a cause for concern.

  12. Postpublished at 14:42 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 48-1 - trail by 432

Liam Dawson single-handedly removed Surrey's top three first time around, but hasn't quite found his line yet.

Ollie Pope plays solidly in defence before opening the face of the bat and running a single down to third man.

Felix Organ is the spinner asking the questions at the moment. Pope almost chops on to his first ball but gets away with a single.

The 24-year-old then lets out the yelp of a curtailed lbw appeal off Dom Sibley.

    It's a battle out there.

  13. Harmer back into attackpublished at 14:40 26 May

    Kent 240-5 v Essex 591-7 dec

Simon Harmer is brought back into the Essex attack.

He has gone wicketless from his 21 overs so far in this innings and with Sam Cook off the field, Essex really need the South Africa off-spinner to come to the party.

Harmer has 14 wickets so far this summer, not quite reaching the standards of previous years yet.

  14. WICKET Lyon c Rhodes b Lintott 7published at 14:37 26 May

    Lancashire 145-9 v Warwickshire 284

The slow left-armers are doing the business for Warwickshire!

Jake Lintott is back in the attack and he removes Australia star Nathan Lyon as he gets one to turn and take the edge as Lyon tries a big heave.

But even then it is a brilliant one-handed grab high up by a diving Will Rhodes at slip to complete the dismissal after it had deflected off wicketkeeper Michael Burgess.

It's now two wickets for Lintott to go with four for Jacob Bethell.

  15. Postpublished at 14:36 26 May

    Hants 608-6 v Surrey 127 & 44-1 - trail by 437

It's spin at both ends again as Liam Dawson returns for his second over of the innings.

Two Dom Sibley singles and another from Ollie Pope is the outcome.

There's a yelp as Sibley then plays back to Felix Organ and the ball drops at his feet.

  16. 'Middlesex are not in a hurry'published at 14:34 26 May

    Middx 177-2 v Sussex 554-9 dec

    Roland Butcher
Former Middlesex and England batter on BBC Radio London

Middlesex are slowly ticking along and not in any great hurry but Sam Robson will be hoping to get 100.

He's really been hanging in there looking for that.

  17. Postpublished at 14:34 26 May

    Northants 301 v Yorks 362 & 114-3

Shan Masood edges Ben Sanderson towards third slip but it does not carry.

He's clearly not happy about that wrist. We're going to see the Yorkshire physio for the second time.

  18. Postpublished at 14:33 26 May

    Leics 325-6 v Glamorgan 387

Leicestershire have four overs to get the 25 runs needed for a third batting point.

In all honesty it looks unlikely, Scott Currie (34) and Ben Cox (22) are not exactly motoring against some disciplined bowling.

Even more unlikely now. Maiden from Zain-ul-Hassan.

  19. 'It won't be straight forward to remove Lyon'published at 14:31 26 May

    Lancashire 140-8 v Warwickshire 284

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

Nathan Lyon has proved himself at the very highest level to be a doughty battler with the bat.

So this won't be a necessarily straight forward job to remove him.

  20. Postpublished at 14:31 26 May

    Northants 301 v Yorks 362 & 114-3

    What happened there?

Shan Masood plays and misses but then takes off his right glove and appears to have some sort of wrist or finger injury.

The Yorkshire physio comes out to provide several minutes of treatment.
