  1. Aus 212-5published at 41 overs

Beautifully timed from Carey, an exquisite pull sends Carse's delivery to the boundary.

He follows that up by turning the final delivery of the over round the corner, just beating Jamie Smith to reach the ropes behind the keeper.

That's Carse done, he finishes with figures of 1-55 from his ten overs.

Raby Castle near Staindrop in County Durham is very picturesque and looks a great backdrop to play cricket.

  3. Aus 200-5published at 40 overs

Another steady four-run over from Rashid.

Alex Carey take a single to mid-off from the final delivery to bring up Australia's 200.

Ten overs to go, how close can the world champions get to 300?

It's another extraordinary shot from Glenn Maxwell - one of those shots that very few batters in the world can play!

  5. Aus 196-5published at 39 overs

Superb stuff from Maxwell, opening himself up to lash Carse away to the mid-wicket ropes.

He closes the over on 14 from 16 with two fours.

At what point will he accelerate?

I reckon there's a few people wearing just a t-shirt on the far side of the ground now. A lovely summer's day.

  11. Aus 178-5published at 36 overs

Carey responds to almost being dismissed by driving Rashid into the covers for two, then pulling him away for four through mid-wicket.

He's now on 31 from 30 - could he make another big contribution here? He was player of the match in the last ODI at Headingley, top-scoring for Australia with 74, mostly added with the tail.

  12. Not outpublished at 35.1 overs

    Very close!

Umpire's call, skimming the top of the bails, and Carey survives.

It looked like an unlikely review with the Australian keeper taking a fair step forward, but it wasn't so far away.

We know how difficult it is for batters to sometimes pick up the slower balls and be able to hit them consistently with the change of pace. Adil Rashid is mixing that pace up perfectly here!

This is close and it could be a massive wicket for England!

  15. Umpire reviewpublished at 35.1 overs

Adil Rashid strikes Alex Carey on the pads stepping down to defend.

Nothing from the umpire, but after a bit of a conference the review is sent upstairs by Harry Brook.

England needed that! Steven Smith picks up Jofra Archer, but Brydon Carse covers 15 or 20 yards before a full-length dive to his left-hand side. He's taken an absolute screamer! Smith cannot believe it!

  17. Aus 172-5published at 35 overs

Glenn Maxwell arrives at number seven for Australia, and he sees off the final three balls of Archer's over.

The veteran batter may have to go quite hard quite quickly here if Australia are to set a respectable total.

    Smith c Carse b Archer 60 (Aus 172-5)

A stunning catch from Brydon Carse!

Steven Smith pulls Jofra Archer to the square leg boundary, hitting the ball flat and hard on the swivel.

Carse makes impressive ground running round from backward square, diving to take the catch with two hands a few yards in from the ropes.

Smith was half way through his run and had to suddenly stop - he can only smile incredulously.
