London Spirit batter Grace Harris on how much she enjoyed playing today: Really enjoyed it. It was good fun. When you have a wicket like this, you want to cash in as a batter. I loved it out there.

On the key to her hitting power: Genetics maybe? And three gym sessions a week. Your hand speed as well. Your feet don't have to move well but a still base and you can time balls for six with your hands.

On her nutrition: A few burgers in there. I have been living on dumplings since I have been over in England and it seems to be working! No Harris is a small human being, so I will take it.

London Spirit bowler Issy Wong speaking on her team's game plan today: "Keeping it simple. I have been lucky to come into this fantastic group. We are clear on how we want to play our cricket and we are executing our skills.

On how she came back after time off: "A lot of hard work. Some difficult conversations had to be had but I spent the winter working on my skills.

"Credit to the batters for getting such a big total on the board. Having more runs on the board means you have more freedom as a bowler and can express yourself.

On what it is like being with the team: "We have had the busiest few days but I have loved it. There is a mix of people you know and ones you don't. I have a great relationship with the coaching staff as well and I feel really backed."

Oval Invincibles batter Meg Lanning on her team's performance: We were a bit behind and they set a great total. I couldn't get going early on and it was just too slow to get us close to the total.

They didn't give too may loose balls early on so I had to fight to get boundaries. Once I found some tempo, I had some momentum going.

On her message to the team ahead of the next game: There was some good stuff shown today. There are always things to improve on and we had good moments with the ball. We will get better as the tournament goes on. It is nice to get the first game out the way.

On Grace Harris' performance: She is very powerful and makes it look easy. Fair play to her, she was too good.

  4. Postpublished at 17:36 British Summer Time 5 August

London Spirit batter Cordelia Griffith speaking after her team's victory: "I am really happy, I was striking it well and it was nice to get it hitting out the middle.

On her partnership with Grace Harris: "We noticed it was a good wicket and hitting straight was the right way. Gracie [Grace Harris] batted so well and it was a pleasure to watch. She's a great character. I am going to tap into her brains as well and get a few tips.

On her performance and scoring 50: "Delighted. I was happy to contribute to the team win. The support and crowd has been unreal as well."

That partnership between Griffith and Harris was just too many runs for the Invincibles to handle.

Issy Wong bowled really nicely and Tara Norris started brilliantly, getting the ball swinging. Spirit looked more on it in the field and got stuck in.

A bridge too far for Meg Lanning. Just not getting the timing on it and a comfortable catch.

You feel like that is it now for the Invincibles but what a knock.

Meg Lanning still fancies this; she is seeing this ball like a beach ball. Anything outside the off-stump, she is so good at.
