Well, that is some way to get The Hundred going again in 2025!

Magnificent from Grace Harris and that is some act to try and follow.

But if anyone can, Mike Peter can... He'll take you through the Oval Invincibles chase. They need 177 to win.

What an innings we have witnessed from Grace Harris.

It feels like a big score for the London Spirit and they know it. Pure striking and clever batting and the Invincibles did not get it right with the ball.

  4. Spirit 176-5published at 100 balls

    Harris 89, Wong 1

Clubbed leg side by Grace Harris to end the innings, just a single but what an innings that was from the Australian.

She ends unbeaten on 89 from 42 balls - with six sixes!

Defending campions London Spirit post their highest total in The Hundred and Oval Invincibles have it all to do.

This is not working for Oval Invincibles. You don't see a lot of the wide plan in women's cricket. If you bowl wide outside off, then you force the batter to do something. I don't understand why we don't see more of it.

Invincibles need to get back to the drawing board already.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 98 balls

    Gibson c Winfield-Hill b Kapp 2 (Spirit 174-5)

Gloved behind but no celebration from Oval Invincibles.

Danielle Gibson moves across her stumps and tries to aim a big shot leg side.

The ball just brushes off her glove and through to Lauren Winfield-Hill.

That ends Grace Harris' hopes of a century...

Such good striking. Grace Harris is so still when she hits this delivery and she knows as soon as she hits it that it is going for six.

    A masterclass in batting.

    Spirit 172-4published at 95 balls

There's no stopping Grace Harris right now!

After having to wait patiently to get strike in this set, she finally has her chance and promptly dispatches Tash Farrant over long-on for six.

Just a single next ball, though, so it'll be Danielle Gibson on strike for the start of the last five balls.

The intelligent thing to do there was get Grace Harris on strike. Oval Invincibles have the opportunity now to get a bowl at the new batter.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 91 balls

    Knott c Gardner b Farrant 1 (Spirit 164-4)

Chipped to long-off and Tash Farrant has her second.

Charli Knott never really got going and offers a simple catch to Joanne Gardner in the deep.

With Grace Harris going so well, just getting her back on strike is surely the smart option?

    Just brilliant from Grace Harris!

Stands her ground and then produces a fantastic reverse scoop/ switch hit.

A magnificent cricket shot. The best of the lot from Grace Harris. She gave herself room, a little step outside of leg-stump to get herself underneath it.

    Superb.

  15. 6 runs

    Spirit 156-3published at 85 balls

The century partnership may have been broken but Grace Harris is still going strong!

She muscles the ball over extra cover for six off Sophia Smale and follows it up with six more next ball, this time over the leg side.

If she stays in for the next 15 balls, Spirit will have a mammoth total.

Finally one carries through to the fielder. Cordelia Griffith has really put the Spirit on top, a superb innings from her.

Great for Tash Farrant as well, after two years out of the game.

It's 50 and out for Cordelia Griffith.

Big moment for Tash Farrant with her first wicket in The Hundred after such a long injury lay-off.
