The warmest day of the season so far, and the cricket has matched it.

Loads of runs and plenty of wickets. Just how we like it!

Seven players have raised their bat for reaching three figures with Colin Ingram's 170 for Glamorgan the pick of the bunch, and Haseeb Hameed unbeaten on 137 for Notts against former county Lancashire.

Four bowlers have struck with five-fors, with special mention for Craig Miles' 5-39 against Surrey.

Glamorgan will continue their innings into the morning of day three as Sussex can't quite polish off the tail tonight.

The day belongs to Colin Ingram and Kiran Carlson whose partnership took Glamorgan from 41-4 to 356-5.

Ingram scored 170 and Carlson 148 and deserve all the plaudits coming their way.

Sussex's star man with the ball was Jayden Seales, who took 5-101.

We've got one match still going and it's the one in Cardiff where Sussex have one final over to end the Glamorgan innings.

Ben Charlesworth and Cameron Bancroft ensure Glos make it through the close unscathed and with a big lead of 315 runs.

One thing to mention is that Craig Miles appeared to hurt himself in celebrating his fifth wicket.

Replays suggest he may have gone over on his ankle.

Warwickshire will really need him fit to bowl tomorrow after the way he has run in today.

Cameron Steel squirts the last ball of the day down to the vacant third man boundary for four runs.

There ends a super Saturday of cricket at the Oval.

Jamie Smith is unbeaten on 98, but 5-39 from Craig Miles has hauled Warwickshire back into things.

Surrey trail by 16, but the first session tomorrow will be crucial in how this game shapes up.

It's given Bears fans a bit of hope going into tomorrow.

If there's a sudden collapse and Surrey maybe only get 50 ahead, we could have an absolute corker on our hands.

Surrey have allowed Warwickshire back into this a little bit. They were cruising 20 minutes ago.

Almost another wicket as Jamie Smith drives uppishly, but Ollie Hannon-Dalby can't cling on for the caught and bowled.

The ball almost ricochets onto the stumps at the bowler's end with Cameron Steel out of his ground.

It just misses and the batters get through for one as Smith moves to 98.

Well bowled Jayden Seales.

The West Indies fast bowler took three wickets in a devastating spell early on and has returned with a couple late in the day to secure a five-fer.

There are three allotted overs left in the day for Sussex to wrap up the Glamorgan innings.

What a catch that is!

It's a fifth wicket for Craig Miles, but it owes everything to an outstanding one-handed catch by Rob Yates, diving low to his left off the edge.

Night-watchman Kemar Roach is gone for a duck and Miles has 5-39.

His late burst has dragged his team right back into the match.

Olly Stone blocks the final ball of the day bowled by Tom Bailey, and that is stumps.

An excellent day's cricket there, with nine wickets and 304 runs.

Haseeb Hameed is unbeaten on 137 while Notts trail by 52 with three wickets remaining.

We still cannot decide which team is on top at the halfway point in this game.

Glamorgan are now eight down, with James Harris departing for 26.

They have just gone over the 400 mark and lead Sussex by 124.

Gloucestershire are 70 without loss and have a lead of 308 runs over Northants with three overs left.

The day has been Worcestershire's but at the end of it we reflect that the most likely outcome in this game is a draw but, that said, Worcestershire will feel that they have two days to get 18 wickets.

They've just got to work hard at it.

Kent just know that on a good flat pitch, it's about batting, batting and batting.

So job done by Daniel Bell-Drummond and Jack Leaning.

Jamie Smith with another drive. It's parried by a fielder at mid-on, but he still gets two.

He is now three shy of 100.

A tiring day out there in the middle but there's still work to be done.
