  1. WICKET: Carlson c Carter b Seales 148published at 17:31 11 May

    Glamorgan 356-5 v Sussex 278

    A Sussex wicket!

How disappointing for Kiran Carlson to depart two runs short of 150 but what an incredible innings.

The ball was there to be hit but Carlson sent it to the fielder at mid-on - if it had missed him it would have surely gone for four to give him the 150.

Jayden Seales takes the wicket - he has four today - although the three this morning probably seem a long time ago now.

  2. Fireworks over the roadpublished at 17:30 11 May

    Notts 229-5 v Lancashire

This match does not deserve it for the cricket since tea, but there is a huge outburst of fireworks near Trent Bridge.

The City Ground, where Nottingham Forest are about to play Chelsea is the most likely culprit!

  3. Postpublished at 17:26 11 May

    Notts 227-5 v Lancashire 331

A first boundary since tea from Haseeb Hameed.

And it's a trademark shot of his as he whips a half-volley from Will Williams out to a wide midwicket.

Hameed has been in a blocking mode in this session, with him and Lyndon James putting a high value on their wickets.

  4. NORTHANTS ALL OUT FOR 171published at 17:17 11 May

    Northants 171 v Glos 409

George Scrimshaw is last man out for Northants as he swings at an Ajeet Singh Dale delivery and edges it to Ben Charlesworth in the slips.

The home side's innings never really got going it has to be said. Ricardo Vasconcelos top-scored with 43 but they lost wickets at regular intervals and the momentum was always with Gloucestershire.

Marchant de Lange starred with the ball for the visitors, taking 5-42 from 16 overs.

    Glos lead by 238.

  5. 'Bell-Drummond and Leaning have rebuilt a little bit'published at 17:15 11 May

    Kent 64-2 v Worcs 618-7d

    Frank Watson
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

It's a fairly calm crowd. They've seen some fireworks this afternoon.

They've now see these two (Daniel Bell-Drummond and Jack Leaning) settle down after losing those two early wickets and it's become attritional again.

Bell-Drummond and Leaning have shared things in this partnership and they've rebuilt a little bit after that bit of a shock start for Kent but normal service has been resumed.

  6. 50 partnershippublished at 17:13 11 May

    Hampshire 503 v Durham 98-2

A typical Alex Lees shot as he stands up tall and drives Kyle Abbott through the covers for four.

He and David Bedingham have now put on exactly 50 for this third wicket for Durham.

  7. Postpublished at 17:10 11 May

    Kent 59-2 v Worcs 618-7d

Daniel Bell-Drummond and Jack Leaning have taken Kent past 50 as they look to rebuild after a horror start, losing Ben Compton and Zak Crawley cheaply.

They both have 24 and the 50 partnership is drawing near.

  8. 50 standpublished at 17:09 11 May

    Surrey 221-3 v Warwickshire 343

Good stuff from Jamie Smith and Ben Foakes since tea.

The Oval looks a picture with the sun out and the Surrey pair are showing this is a good track for batting.

They have now put on 52 for this partnership.

  9. 150 for Colin Ingrampublished at 17:08 11 May

    Glamorgan 335-4 v Sussex 278

The runs keep on coming for Glamorgan's Colin Ingram.

A flurry of fours takes him past his latest milestone.

This is now his highest score of the season and he is comfortably topping the Division Two batting charts.

Along with Kiran Carlson they have put on almost 300 runs.

The last time Sussex celebrated a wicket was in the eleventh over - we're in the 83rd now.

  10. Ice cream timepublished at 17:05 11 May

    #bbccricket

    It's 5pm on a lovely sunny day.

If you've not yet had an ice-cream today, the simple question is why not?

And the next would be what you'd choose. I'd go for a classic cornet.

  11. Postpublished at 17:01 11 May

    Notts 209-5 v Lancashire 331

Lancashire through bowler Will Williams, the slips and wicketkeeper Matty Hurst think they have strangled Lyndon James down leg.

    Umpire Tom Lungley disagrees.

There have been 18 runs in 10 overs since tea, as both teams tussle for supremacy.

  12. Five-wicket haul for Marchant de Langepublished at 16:52 11 May

    Northants 162-9 v Glos 409

The big man bangs one down to Ben Sanderson who can't handle the pace and takes one hand off the bat as it rears up before the ball is snaffled at slip to give Marchant de Lange his fifth wicket.

He has figures of 5-38 from 14 overs.

Northants only have one wicket left.

Their innings never really recovered from when de Lange took two wickets in two balls after lunch.

  13. Postpublished at 16:52 11 May

    Notts 207-5 v Lancashire

After an expensive start to his bowling, Tom Hartley has settled down since tea.

His 10 overs have gone for 29 runs but Lancashire would love those figures to have a wicket or two in the column.

  14. Northants eight downpublished at 16:49 11 May

    Northants 162-8 v Glos 409

Another home wicket falls as Gloucestershire bowler Marchant de Lange takes his fourth of the innings.

Siddarth Kaul was excellent with the ball himself but de Lange removes him without scoring as Northants' innings continues to falter badly.

    They are 247 behind.

  15. 200 for the Championspublished at 16:48 11 May

    Surrey 201-3 v Warwickshire 343

Ben Foakes steers one through the offside and picks up two more for the total and that pushes it over 200.

Surrey trail by 142 runs and they still have Dan Lawrence, Cameron Steel, Jordan Clark and Sean Abbott to come.

    Ominous!

  16. 300 up for Glamorganpublished at 16:46 11 May

    Glamorgan 301-4 v Sussex 278

Colin Ingram (140*) and Kiran Carlson (124*) just keep going and going.

The hosts are over 300 runs and have a 24-run lead.

  17. Postpublished at 16:40 11 May

    Surrey 191-3 v Warwickshire 343

A super shot from Ben Foakes down the ground gets him his first boundary.

His style may not fit Bazball, but Foakes is still a terrific county batter.

  18. 200 up for the home sidepublished at 16:35 11 May

    Notts 200-5 v Lancashire 331

George Balderson is striving for a fourth wicket and in doing so, he oversteps.

The no-ball, along with Lyndon James' poke into the offside, adds three to the total and that is the team's 200.

They trail by 131 with half their wickets in hand.

  19. Postpublished at 16:33 11 May

    Hampshire 503 v Durham 54-2

A nice shot off the back foot from Alex Lees brings him four runs.

It reduces the Durham deficit to a mere 499! He and South Africa batter David Bedingham have a lot of work to do.

  20. WICKET Ackermann lbw b Dawson 2published at 16:27 11 May

    Hampshire 503 v Durham 48-2

Hampshire pick up where they left off before tea, with a spinner in the wickets.

Round the wicket, Liam Dawson skids one into Colin Ackermann's pads and the batter is trapped in front of leg stump.

Now the home team will really fancy their chances of getting stuck into Durham's batting.
