  1. Close of play at Utilita Bowlpublished at 18:15 11 May

    Hampshire 503 v Durham 146-3

Night-watchman Matt Potts sees off the last few balls of Felix Organ's over and that is stumps.

Hampshire's big score has set them up and three Durham wickets, especially that one of Alex Lees before the close, has them in a very strong position.

Durham trail by 357 and first need to reach a score of 354 to avoid following-on.

  2. Close of play at Canterburypublished at 18:14 11 May

    Kent 111-2 v Worcs 618-7d

Daniel Bell-Drummond (54*) and Jack Leaning (43*) see Kent through to the close.

They've steadied the ship nicely after the early losses of Ben Compton and Zak Crawley.

Earlier, we saw Worcestershire score the second-highest total of the season with a massive 618-7 declared.

After Adam Hose's 90, it was the unbeaten partnership of Jason Holder and Matthew Waite which really took the game away from Kent.

    Holder's 123 and Waite's 100 included plenty of fireworks.

  3. Postpublished at 18:12 11 May

    Surrey 313-4 v Warwickshire 343

No night-watchman for Surrey as Dan Lawrence has come to the middle.

Can he help Jamie Smith, who is on 90, to three figures before stumps?

  4. WICKET Lees lbw b Dawson 71published at 18:09 11 May

    Hampshire 503 v Durham 145-3

A crucial, crucial strike in the penultimate over.

Left-armer to left-hander and the bowler wins an LBW call off the umpire.

Alex Lees is convinced that the ball hits him outside the line of off-stump from Liam Dawson's quicker delivery.

The decision is out and he has to leave the field, albeit in a very disgruntled manner.

The partnership of 97 between Lees and David Bedingham is broken.

  5. WICKET Foakes b Miles 52published at 18:06 11 May

    Surrey 308-4 v Warwickshire 343

Craig Miles delivers with the new ball!

A third Surrey wicket for the Bears bowler as he gets one past Ben Foakes' defences.

It may have kept a bit low, but that is a welcome sight for Warwickshire.

Foakes goes for a valuable score of 52 in a stand of 139 with Jamie Smith.

  6. 50 for Ben Foakespublished at 18:05 11 May

    Surrey 303-3 v Warwickshire 343

Dan Mousley has the dubious honour of bowling the 80th over.

Ben Foakes goes big over midwicket and the four runs take him to a half-century.

It has taken 92 balls and is putting his side in a very strong position.

He takes a single and then Jamie Smith smashes a baseball-style shot over the legside for four.

That brings up the 300, a second batting point and means they have collected 12 from this Mousley over.

  7. Postpublished at 18:03 11 May

    Northants 171 v Glos 409 & 48-0

Gloucestershire opening pair Cameron Bancroft (26*) and Ben Charlesworth (23*) can bit with a fair degree of freedom such is the cushion their side has.

They've been finding the boundary fairly regularly to push their side up towards 50 runs.

The lead is 287 and we have ten overs left tonight for them to push on.

  8. Batting point for Nottspublished at 18:00 11 May

    Notts 256-6 v Lancashire 331

Almost a second wicket in the over for George Balderson!

A good ball to Calvin Harrison catches the edge, and it flies just beyond the reach of George Bell at third slip.

That is also a first batting point for Notts.

And then Harrison steers one down past the slips for four more. That was much more controlled.

  9. 50 for Daniel Bell-Drummondpublished at 17:56 11 May

    Kent 101-2 v Worcs 618-7d

The ever-reliable Kent skipper is digging his side out of a hole of their own making here as he reaches a half-century and takes the hosts over 100 runs.

They were 15-2 when Zak Crawley departed so it's been a good recovery.

They need plenty more good work to get near Worcestershire's total though.

  10. WICKET James c Jennings b Balderson 26published at 17:56 11 May

    Notts 248-6 v Lancashire 331

Lyndon James has fought gamely since tea, but he succumbs to the new ball.

George Balderson shares the duties with Tom Bailey and he strikes with his first delivery with it.

There is a hint of width for James to attack, but it flashes into the hands of first slip.

A fourth wicket of the day for Balderson.

  11. Postpublished at 17:54 11 May

    Surrey 291-3 v Warwickshire 343

A second six of the innings for Jamie Smith as he effortlessly pulls it over deep backward square for six off Ed Barnard.

And next ball, he takes one step out of his crease before unfurling a gorgeous off drive for four more.

    Smith goes to 77.

He has nine overs left tonight. Can he make his hundred this evening?

  12. New ballpublished at 17:50 11 May

    Notts 241-5 v Lancashire 331

Lyndon James pinches a single off the final ball of Tom Hartley's over and that is the 50 partnership between him and Lyndon James.

It has taken almost 24 overs, so it has been a struggle.

But 80 overs are now up and Lancashire are taking the new ball.

  13. WICKET: Ingram lbw Lamb 170published at 17:49 11 May

    Glamorgan 360-7 v Sussex 278

An excellent innings comes to an end.

    Very well played Colin Ingram!

His mammoth contribution ends after 248 balls with 23 fours and three sixes and the partnership with Kiran Carlson has turned the game in Glamorgan's favour.

They were struggling when Ingram arrived but he has showed his class to give them a healthy lead.

  14. 'Sussex will hope to get Ingram out and wrap up'published at 17:48 11 May

    Glamorgan 360-6 v Sussex 278

    Edward Bevan
Cricket reporter on BBC Radio Wales

As far as Glamorgan are concerned, they will not want to lose Colin Ingram because he is an important man to try and extend this lead after over 100.

Similarly Sussex will be hoping to get him out and wrap up and then they'll think - yes in the end we have done pretty well even though we trail.

  15. 100 partnershippublished at 17:43 11 May

    Surrey 272-3 v Warwickshire 343

Ben Foakes and Jamie SmithImage source, Rex Features

Warwickshire had an opening when Craig Miles removed Dom Sibley and Ollie Pope in quick succession.

But Jamie Smith and Ben Foakes have shut the door with this stand of 103.

Surrey trail by 71, but they will fancy building a large first innings lead with their batting still to come.

  16. 'Northants need to try and make a few inroads'published at 17:41 11 May

    Northants 171 v Glos 409 & 22-0

    Andrew Radd
    BBC Radio Northampton

Northamptonshire's bowlers who put in a decent shift in the first innings, in particular Siddharth Kaul and Ben Sanderson - when they would have been hoping for a long nice rest and to put their feet up.

Instead they are going to have to bowl again. They are going to have a good hour and a bit out in the field.

The sun has gone in behind cloud at the moment but it still feels that this will be testing little session for Northamptonshire.

They need to keep concentrating, they need to try and make a few inroads and get themselves back into the match but they are going to need a very strong final session.

  17. 'A flicker of hope for Sussex'published at 17:41 11 May

    Glamorgan 360-6 v Sussex 278

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Sussex strike twice to give themselves a flicker of hope after a long hard day in the sun.

  18. 50 for Alex Leespublished at 17:39 11 May

    Hampshire 503 v Durham 106-2

Alex Lees plays one into the legside off Liam Dawson to reach a nicely compiled half-century.

It has come off exactly 100 balls.

He has one century to his name this summer and his team need him to go big again.

  19. 50 for Jamie Smithpublished at 17:34 11 May

    Surrey 255-3 v Warwickshire 343

Jacob Bethell drops short and Jamie Smith fairly pumps it over cow corner for a six - the first of the innings.

That brings Smith up to 50 off 65 balls. What a dangerous player he is.

It also takes the total past 250 and the side's first batting point.

  20. WICKET: Cooke c Simpson b Lamb 1published at 17:33 11 May

    Glamorgan 357-6 v Sussex 278

    Incredible...

What's that saying about waiting for buses?

After waiting an age for a wicket Sussex have two in two overs!

Chris Cooke tickles one down the leg side and Simpson takes the diving catch to his left.
