  5. England reviewpublished at 23.1 overs

Matthew Potts strikes Alex Carey on the pad. He's given not out on the field, but Harry Brooks fancies a review.

We'll have the wicket of Sean Abbott shortly. In the meantime here's how Jofra Archer dismissed Glenn Maxwell a little while ago.

Sean Abbott got hold of the first one, but that one is nowhere near the middle of the bat! England keep the mid-on and mid-off up to tempt Australia. That's good bowling from Matthew Potts and a good catch by Liam Livingstone.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 22 overs

    Abbott c Livingstone b Potts 10 (Aus 119-7)

Sean Abbott enjoys the feeling of bat and ball so much he cannot resist having another go at Matthew Potts.

This time, however, he miscues a ball back of length and sends it skywards. Liam Livingstone backpedals from mid-on and makes a tricky catch look easy.

That's what Sean Abbott can do. He does have a clean swing and he hits it for six!

  10. 6 runs

    Aus 119-6published at 21.5 overs

Plenty of bottom hand in this as Sean Abbott biffs a six over cow corner. A bit more intent, at last.

Australia's first boundary since two balls into the tenth over.

  11. Aus 113-6published at 21.4 overs

I wonder if captain Harry Brook fancies giving his meds an outing here given Australia seem keen to keep England out there

Sean Abbott middles an on drive but Liam Livingstone dives brilliant to stop it.

England are not putting the lads down the line to see this through. They are still trying to tempt Australia into playing a rash shot.

  13. Aus 112-6published at 21 overs

Sean Abbott has a big yahoo at one from Adil Rashid which spins away from the Aussie batter, but it's a fresh-air shot.

We've absolutely smashed the world champions two games on the bounce, with a very young, inexperienced team. With this squad and an incredible list of absentees and young talent waiting in the wings, I'm not sure we'll lose another match in any form of the game for years to come - may as well hand the World Cups over now because there's no point anyone else turning up.

  15. Aus 111-6published at 20 overs

Matthew Potts back into the attack for England but Australia going through the motions a little.

There's no real intent from Sean Abbott and Alex Carey to even attempt to win the game at the moment.

Their team-mates are huddled together watching on from the balcony in the pavilion, looking rather sullen.

I don't agree with that call from the third umpire. There is some part of the shoe behind the crease, but it's in the air! Sean Abbott will get away with this one.

  17. Abbott survivespublished at 18.3 overs

The third umpire determines Sean Abbott has some part of his boot behind the line. There's a cigarette paper in it.

  18. Umpire reviewpublished at 18.3 overs

Adil Rashid spins one past Sean Abbott and Jamie Smith whips the bails off.

The umpire's review it with Abbott stretching to get his foot back behind the line.

    This could be close.

  19. Aus 104-6published at 18.2 overs

Australia have hit one boundary since losing their first wicket - Steve Smith's four on 9.2 overs, when they were one down.

Harry Brook is going to tempt Australia to play some shots as he chucks Adil Rashid the ball.

In their ODI history, with 28, this is the fourth fewest runs Australia have conceded from the loss of their first wicket to their sixth.

The only time they scored fewer against England was in the 1975 World Cup semi-final, when they went from 17-0 to 39-6, and they won by four wickets.
