  1. 6 runs

    Aus 31-0published at 4.2 overs

    Six for Marsh!

He picks up Matty Potts' delivery and lofts it over the mid-wicket boundary.

I don't think Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh will be panicking about the required run rate yet. It's still eight runs an over, at the moment.

  3. Aus 25-0published at 4 overs

    Driven for four!

Travis Head gets on top of an Archer delivery and sends it to the boundary at long-off.

Archer responds with a tighter line, and Head pulls out of the shot to let the ball pass through to the keeper.

  4. Aus 19-0published at 3 overs

Potts strays down the leg side again with his opening delivery, with the ball clipping Marsh's pads and running away for four leg byes.

No further runs come from the rest of the over, as Potts finds his line.

    Statistician on Test Match Special

The 28 runs from Mitchell Starc's final over were the most runs ever scored in an over of international cricket at Lord's.

  6. Aus 15-0published at 2 overs

A fantastic end to the over from Archer, three dot balls that trouble Head but don't quite winkle the Australian opener out.

  7. 6 runs

    Aus 15-0published at 1.3 overs

To make matters worse for Archer, Travis Head lashes the following delivery for six!

Having been brought on strike with a single from that dismissal chance, Head picks the ball up off his pads and deposits the ball over the ropes at square leg.

  8. dropped catch

Marsh dropped on 5published at 1.2 overs

    Aus 9-0

    A chance, a definite chance!

Jofra Archer fires in a bouncer and Marsh hooks over head, high and loopy having come off the top of the bat.

Both Jamie Smith and first slip Will Jacks run back after it, it's the latter that goes for it but he can't hold on.

Smith was closer there, Jacks had to run in front of him as he backed off, and Archer flings his hands up in frustration.

The 28 runs conceded by Mitchell Starc off the final over of England's innings is the most expensive for Australia in ODIs. It beat the 27 conceded by Simon Davis in the 46th over of Australia v England at Perth on New Year's Day 1987.

  10. Aus 8-0published at 1 over

Mitchell Marsh gets Australia's innings up and running from the opening delivery, flicking behind square for two.

Potts struggles with his line, sending down three leg side wides, while a slash to the third boundary brings another two.

The England seamer and his cordon go up as Marsh punches a single towards mid-off - it's pad then bat, but Harry Brook decides not to review.

Correctly so, ball tracking has impact outside the line.

    Excellent innings, Mr A.

Matty Potts has the ball in hand, two slips in.

    Let's go.

Can England's attack make some early inroads with the ball as the sun starts to set over Lord's?

Of course, Liam Livingstone has a licence to thrill at the end of England's innings thanks to a stellar knock from Harry Brook, who was no slouch either with 87 off 58 balls.

Incredible hitting from Liam Livingstone to take England to a formidable total in a 39-over match.

Brutal and beautiful biffing from Liam Livingstone.

England are in a decent position to make it 2-2 with one to play here aren't they?

Liam Livingstone's 7 sixes in this innings is the joint most in an ODI Innings at Lord's, alongside Andrew Flintoff (v West Indies, 2004).

  20. Eng 312-5published at 39 overs

Liam Livingstone finishes with another boundary, as he clatters a Mitchell Starc yorker for four.

28 runs off that final over. Incredibly clean striking from the Lancashire man.
