Emma Lamb's superb season continues - she's been in great form for Lancashire, has been recalled by England and now has a 50 in her first game for Birmingham Phoenix.

She hasn't overhit the ball. She is just using the pace and just tapping her shots on the head. She is finding the gaps well.

Emma Lamb sends her first delivery into the leg side, and the return throw hits the stumps and flies away, allowing an extra run.
The opener then adds her eighth four, guiding the ball through backward point.
A further single and Phoenix will now take a strategic time-out - curious.
A conventional sweep this time from Emma Lamb, sending Alana King's first ball over the boundary.
The rest of the set goes for singles - Lamb is on 41 from 23 balls, Perry on seven from six.

When you know that Ellyse Perry is at the other end, it gives you a sense of relaxation. You are so much more confident and you back your own abilities because you think: 'I've got Perry at the other end here!'

The batters are doing a fantastic job but they are being helped by a little bit of untidy fielding and poor execution with the ball.
I'm a little bit surprised that Trent Rockets have brought their spinner in so soon. The ball is swinging around, which you don't often see, so you would think maybe the seamer is worth another go.
A quieter set to end the powerplay, just four runs from Cassidy McCarthy's second set of five.
Emma Lamb mistimes a pull but it lands safely in the leg side.
A first sight of spin with Kirstie Gordon, and the Phoenix batters sweep her for three fours in the set.
It's Emma Lamb who dispatches the first of those, then Voll smacks the other two from consecutive deliveries.

Trent Rockets have just got to tidy things up a little bit here. They haven't made the tidiest start to this innings so far.
You don't really want to be setting that kind of tone this early on, you want to be nice and sharp at the start of a campaign.
Alexa Stonehouse has the right to be annoyed with her fielders after a couple of mis-fields cost some extra runs.
She be irked with Emma Lamb too - the Phoenix opener whacks the final delivery over the set through mid-wicket for a one-bounce four.
