I just feel Travis Head has done the damage for Australia.

Scotland will be glad to see the back of him, but the Aussies are in the driving seat.

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.4 overs

    Head c Jones b Sharif 68 (Aus 140-4)

Travis Head tries the exact same shot but he doesn't connect as cleanly and Jones holds on in the deep.

Sharif needed that - it had been a huge over up until this point.

  3. 6 runs

    Aus 139-3 (target 181)published at 15.3 overs

The third six of the over. It's wide but Travis Head powers it over the covers.

How quickly things change. The mood back in Edinburgh has been significantly dampened, let me tell you.

  4. Aus 133-3 (target 181)published at 15.2 overs

That dropped catch - when Michael Jones put down Travis Head - long ago is looking more and more damaging to Scotland's chances.

Safyaan Sharif comes back in but Travis Head whips it off his hips over the square leg boundary.

Crikey, the next one is a six too. A big old slog. Australia are the favourites now.

  5. Aus 120-3 (target 181)published at 14.3 overs

Chris Sole is back on for a bit of pace, but Marcus Stoinis slogs it straight back at him and it's a one-bounce four.

The next is edged behind all the way to the boundary.

Stoinis is making this look nonchalant, but he has turned the tide back in Australia's favour.

  6. 6 runs

    Aus 110-3published at 13.6 overs

A little appeal as Marcus Stoines reverse paddles again, but it's not taken too seriously.

Stoines then reverse sweeps for a gentle six. He makes that look so easy.

The next goes back over the bowler's head and it's another six. Deary me.

And then a four. That was a reverse sweep again. A really expensive over and perhaps a turning point.

  7. Aus 92-3 (target 181)published at 13 overs

Stumping appeal from Matthew Cross there, as Marcus Stoinis tries to reverse sweep a Mark Watt ball and completely misses.

It's pretty quickly dismissed. Just six off the over in the end.

  8. Aus 91-3 (target 181)published at 12.3 overs

Australia unable to line Chris Greaves up there, a little inconsistent but it worked for Scotland.

Mark Watt back on. The run rate now above 12, but Marcus Stoinis powers the third delivery for four, straight out of the middle of the bat.

  9. Aus 86-3 (target 181)published at 12 overs

Chris Greaves is on, with Australia's required run rate up to 11 an over.

Greaves' first delivery is dragged horribly and Stoinis punches down the ground for a single.

His fourth delivery is similar, but he somehow gets away with it. Just four from the over.

  11. Aus 81-3 (target 181)published at 10.3 overs

Travis Head cuts the third away beautifully, leaning back and somehow powering it through the covers for four.

He tries it again in the next ball but this time Chris Greaves is there, just a single.

  12. Aus 75-3 (target 181)published at 10.1 overs

No pithy introduction this time, George? Let's get back to the cricket...

Marcus Stoinis pulls out of the first delivery - I believe the spider-cam was in his eyeline.

Safyaan Sharif comes in and it's a quick single.

  13. Aus 74-3 (target 181)published at 10 overs

Head and Stoinis exchange singles to finish the 10th over.

Australia need 107 to win from 60 balls.

It's doable, but England fans won't exactly be comfortable at this stage.

Andrew Petrie will see you through the rest of the chase.

  14. Aus 71-3 (target 181)published at 9.1 overs

Michael Leask continues and is met by a deft reverse paddle from Marcus Stoinis, who's in at five for the Aussies.

That is an absolute beauty from Mark Watt. He's bamboozled him!

He's pitched it up, Glenn Maxwell gets stuck in the crease, bit of turn and bounce, top of off stump and that's a crucial wicket.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 8.1 overs

    Maxwell b Watt 11 (Aus 59-3)

Watt bowls Maxwell with a stunning delivery!

Angle in, turn away, top of off. Play that.

The Scotland spinner can hardly believe it himself - he's off celebrating with his hand over his mouth.

This is a really crucial and concerning time for Scotland fans.

These next two or three overs, you need to see the back of one of these two. If these two settle, it could be dangerous for Scotland.

  18. Aus 59-2 (target 181)published at 8 overs

Glenn Maxwell has had enough of milking Michael Leask for ones and twos, and belts the Scotland offie over long-on for six.

The fielder was interested for a second, but it's well over his head.

  19. Aus 43-2 (target 181)published at 6.3 over

Travis Head is a quite ridiculous cricketer.

The tiniest bit of width from Chris Sole, and the South Australian carves it away for six over the off side.

  20. Aus 36-2 (target 181)published at 6 overs

Sharif closes out the powerplay nicely.

Australia well behind the rate at this stage.
