  1. Sco 67-1published at 7 overs

Brandon McMullen is facing some of the best bowling in T20 cricket with some confidence. It's so confident that he's just mis-hit Adam Zampa away for a six!

It's followed by a four. This is outrageous.

  3. Sco 54-1published at 01:59 British Summer Time 16 June

A four to finish the power play from George Munsey. The run rate is nine an over at the moment.

A quick reminder that if Scotland win, they go through to the Super 8s and knock England out. Just in case you'd forgotten.

Would we have taken this at the start of the powerplay? Absolutely.

They have a platform to build on and Scotland are looking really good here.

  5. Sco 50-1published at 5.5 overs

George Munsey slices the second delivery up into the air but it drops short of Ashton Agar. A bit heart in mouth there.

Brandon McMullen back on strike - and it's another boundary, pulled out past square leg.

This is now officially a brilliant start. Everyone stay calm, long way to go.

  6. Sco 44-1published at 5.1 overs

And George Munsey follows it with a four. Scotland have started to get after it.

An excellent recovery after the early loss of Michael Jones. Munsey's scorecard looking a lot nicer now.

Nathan Ellis back on for a spell.

  7. 6 runs

    Sco 39-1published at 4.5 overs

Glenn Maxwell will have a spin. Will Scotland get after him?

A few quick singles, before Qasim Sheikh predicts George Munsey will pull out his reverse sweep - and it's spot on! Munsey clears the rope with his trademark effort.

And the next is over the rope too. He slogs it clean over mid-on. Munsey needed that!

  8. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 4 overs

Starc almost gets his revenge immediately - but Scotland get a bit of luck.

Brandon McMullen's low cover drive is near Travis Head. He's at full stretch, it's low, but he gets two hands to it and still puts it down.

Two dropped catches in one over. You don't get that from Australia very often.

  9. 6 runs

    Sco 25-1published at 3.5 overs

It's another six! Brandon McMullen is down the track to Mitchell Starc, and he slaps it over extra cover.

What about that for confidence? Even Starc is impressed.

  10. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 3.3 overs

George Munsey tries a cover drive which looks to clear the in-field... but Mitchell Marsh gets a hand to it!

It's not enough though, he can't hold onto it. Is that a missed chance? It would have been spectacular.

Scotland have to put their foot on the accelerator. It'll get more difficult outside the powerplay.

Brandon will be feeling more comfortable after that six but Munsey needs to get a couple away here.

  12. 6 runs

    Sco 14-1published at 2.5 overs

Thick outside edge from George Munsey and it hares towards the boundary rope - but Mitchell Starc saves it with some fine fielding at third man.

McMullen on strike... oh that is gorgeous! As nice a cover drive as you will see, timed to perfection, and it absolutely flies into the night sky. That's gone a long way.

It won't be Agar to return - it's Nathan Ellis next. His first ball is played and missed by Brandon McMullen. That's a beauty from a man in good form.

The ball is reaaaaally swinging. Not what the Scottish batters want to see.

The next is short and McMullen pulls away for a single.

  15. Sco 5-1published at 2 overs

George Munsey is not looking comfortable out there. Mitchell Starc's fourth and fifth deliveries miss off stump by a whisper.

He gets bat on the sixth - a simple push to the offside. An excellent first over from Starc.

  16. Sco 4-1published at 1.2 overs

It's not going to get any easier for Scotland - Mitchell Starc is the next to get the ball in hand.

His first delivery swings in, there's a shout for LBW, but it's heading down the leg side. Starc's plan is clear - he wants to crush some toes out there.

A soft dismissal for Jones and Scotland make the worst possible start. You always want to get out the blocks well and not lose any early wickets, but now the task is even more difficult.

    Jones b Agar 2 (Sco 3-1)

Michael Jones' thick inside edge gets Scotland a couple more.

But he's gone next ball! A terrible start for Scotland as Jones drags on.

  19. Sco 1-0published at 0.3 overs

Off we go then. A shot at history for Scotland.

George Munsey will take strike, up against left-arm spinner Ashton Agar - bowling his first ball in this tournament.

A bit of drift from 'Larry' - as Agar is known by teammates - but his third is well swept away by Munsey. First run on the board.

It's a fantastic opportunity for these guys to come up against one of the most formidable teams in T20 cricket.

    Anything is possible in T20.
