  1. Sco 144-4published at 15.1 overs

Thanks Andrew, a wonderful early morning shift from you.

Richie Berrington gets down on one knee and belts Ashton Agar for six over midwicket to start the 16th over.

The Scotland captain will look to accelerate here.

  2. Sco 138-4published at 15 overs

The new batter Michael Leask tries to drill one back past Glenn Maxwell, who does incredibly well to take the power off it with a paw.

That looked a sore one. George O'Neill is here to take you home, Scotland fans.

  3. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.2 overs

    Cross c Agar b Maxwell 18 (Sco 136-4)

It's a waist-high full toss that Cross tries to slog - but it's into the breadbasket of Ashton Agar on the boundary rope.

Glenn Maxwell isn't celebrating just yet. He thinks it might be a no ball.

No, it's all good. Not above waist height and Cross has to walk.

  4. Sco 136-3published at 14.2 overs

Glenn Maxwell thinks he's got Matthew Cross here - although none of his teammates seem to agree. Cross tried to pull it, missed, but it goes down behind the stumps.

    Despite that, it's going upstairs.

It didn't hit the pads, it hit the gloves, and Wade drops it from short range. Another dropped catch from Australia.

  5. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 13.6 overs

Mitchell Starc steams in for the final ball of the over, he bounces it short and Richie Berrington pulls it towards Adam Zampa at square leg.

But it goes for six! It was absolutely flying at Zampa, but that was an Angus Gunn-esque effort from Zampa. Straight through the hands.

  6. Postpublished at 13.3 overs

The first delivery from Mitchell Starc flies an inch wide of Matthew Cross' off stump, but he edges the second for four.

The next is punched through the covers and good running gets another three runs.

  7. Postpublished at 13 overs

Ashton Agar comes on for another spell and while it doesn't go for any boundaries, it does go for nine.

A decent start from Matthew Cross, who's not known as a boundary hitter.

  8. Sco 112-3published at 12 overs

Matthew Cross comes in. He's got big shoes to fill.

Terrific over from Adam Zampa. One over and the big wicket.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11.2 overs

    McMullen c Starc b Zampa (Sco 111-3)

It's over. McMullen slices one straight to short third man and Mitchell Starc snaffles it.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

  10. 6 runs

    Sco 106-2published at 10.4 overs

Brandon McMullen has done it again. That perfectly timed cover drive comfortably clears the long-off fielder and then some. Massive.

It's a joy to watch. I think Scottish sport fans needed this after last night.

  11. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 10.2 overs

Glenn Maxwell gets us back underway after a short drinks break. Could you not have taken a bit longer lads? I need another coffee.

The second ball is cut just over the head of Mitch Marsh. He does get a paw to it... again, it would have been quite the catch.

But still, is that another sign that Scotland's luck is in?

  13. Sco 95-2published at 10 overs

A much tidier over from Adam Zampa, but Scotland won't be too worried about the lack of boundary from that over.

It allowed Berrington to play himself in a little - he doesn't have much time to do that. The run rate dips to 9.60 runs an over.

You'd take that at the halfway stage, wouldn't you?

  14. Postpublished at 9.3 overs

Adam Zampa is back on - can Richie Berrington get himself set?

Yes, his second is a quick single.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 8.6 overs

    Munsey c Ellis b Maxwell 35

Munsey goes big again but he doesn't catch this nearly as well. It comes off the toe and hangs up to Nathan Ellis at deep midwicket.

No drop this time. A very decent knock in the end.

  16. Sco 92-1published at 8.5 overs

George Munsey gets a quick single off the bowling of Glenn Maxwell and that's the 2,000 up for the Scottish opener. What an achievement.

And he celebrates with a big old six. A huge sweep from the left-hander.

    Qasim Sheikh
    Ex-Scotland batter on BBC Sounds

I don't think I've seen a Scottish batter play this kind of innings on the world stage, with this kind of confidence and swagger.

50 off 26 balls against Australia. It's game on.

  18. 50 runs

    50published at 8 overs

And the final ball of the over is a quick single and a 50 for Brandon McMullen. He receives the adulation of the crowd, who are on their foot to applaud him.

I've run out of words for that man. Just an unbelievable talent.

  19. Sco 82-1published at 7.5 overs

2,000 runs in T20 cricket for George Munsey as he scores another quick single.

Brandon McMullen is next on and he goes big again! Lifted over extra cover. Another six and Scotland are at 10 an over right now.

  20. 6 runs

    Sco 73-1published at 7.2 overs

Ashton Agar back on, after he started very well.

His second is swept away hard and Brandon McMullen puts it out of the ground and into the car park. Mind the windshields, Brando!

    98 metres, that six.
