Beth Mooney's method seems to be to play very low-risk and knock singles. It's a wise tactic and works through this over.

Remember Bangladesh dismissed Pakistan for 129 earlier in the tournament. Nothing will be a given in a chase.

And to think everyone was giving England a hard time yesterday by just beating Bangladesh, with some saying that Australia would have knocked the runs off in 25 overs! This is the sub continent and the wicket turns!

At this moment in time, is today’s game showing that England performance yesterday wasn’t as erratic as we all thought?

Just one from the over as Tahlia McGrath sweeps in the air. It feels uncertain. You don't say that about Australia very often.

From what I can see it feels like the Australian batters have been stuck off the crease and not getting forward. They have been caught in the middle.

And here's the example of the ball skidding on. Annabel Sutherland played for turn that never came.

Four of the five wickets have fallen to the spinners.

The tricky thing for Australia is some are turning a long way - like the Perry dismissal below - but a few other balls are skidding on.

Beth Mooney earns some respite by cutting through the covers for four.

Pakistan are big favourites now, according to WinViz... but I'm still inclined to go with Australia's 21% chance of victory.

  8. Aus 60-5published at 16 overs

It's a wicket maiden for Rameen Shamim, who takes a blow on the end of the thumb at the end of the over. She's wiggling it round and round as a teammate takes a look. Pakistan need that thumb to be fine. Shamim has only conceded eight runs from four overs and took that wicket of Gardner.

Another really soft dismissal there for the Australian batter just hit to mid-wicket. She looks very disappointed with herself. Australia are now in a rebuild position.

    FIVE down.

We said England losing to Bangladesh yesterday would be the biggest shock in women's World Cup history. This surely would top the lot.

Ash Gardner has just chipped to mid-wicket. Australia are in real trouble now.

Here is the previously mentioned Ash Gardner.

I'm still not sure I'm going as far to say Pakistan are favourites - Australia still have Tahlia McGrath after these two and Pakistan really struggle with the bat - but this is not what we expected.

    BOWLED.

Nashra Sandhu just wags a finger after bowling the great Annabel Sutherland through the gate.

This is properly game on now.

    Mooney 21, Sutherland 1

Pakistan are twirling through their spin bowlers now as Annabel Sutherland joins Beth Mooney in the middle. I'm convinced Sutherland is the best player in the world these days and Australia still have Ash Gardner, their centurion from the previous game, to come.

That was a wonderful bit of bowling and a lovely bit of keeping there. Perry tried to do her best.

Perry st Nawaz b Sandhu 5 (Aus 55-3)

Ellyse Perry has NOT got back into her ground. Australia are three down.

It's brilliantly work from bowler and wicketkeeper. A bit of flight from Nashra Sandhu tempts her down and the turn beats Perry's edge. Then Sidra Nawaz is rapid in taking off the bails.

Perry swings around to get her bat down but it's on the line not over it as the stumps light up.

    Stumping!

Has Ellyse Perry got back in time? She was scrambling. We're going upstairs...

I am not sure that number 5 meant get bashed for a four through the covers at the start of the next over.
