Maiden over from left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal on her return to the attack.

Nothing to overly concern Alana King but nothing for her to get away either.

Alana King is doing a wonderful job here alongside Beth Mooney and they will be hoping to get up to at least 160 here.

    Mooney 72, King 13

Beauty to finish from Diana Baig, just getting the ball to nip away off the seam to beat Beth Mooney.

It's another very smart take from Sidra Nawaz stood up to the stumps. The Pakistan wicketkeeper has been really good so far today.

  4. Aus 144-8published at 40.1 overs

Lovely straight drive by Beth Mooney that beats the fielder coming across from mid-on and runs away for four.

The folded arms and stare from bowler Diana Baig suggests she thinks the fielder should have done a little better.

Pakistan fielders have done really well, bowled well in conditions that look really hot out there, and it is obviously humid. Both teams are doing really well.

  6. Aus 140-8published at 40 overs

Beth Mooney is still playing very sensibly, knowing there is plenty of time left in the innings and now is not the time for unnecessary risks.

No doubt she'll feel that if she can bat through the innings, Australia will have a total that proves beyond Pakistan.

Alana King just threw her hands at that one and chanced her arm. I don't there is anything wrong with doing that at this stage. She got the reward for it.

Given how painful the last four Sundays have been for Pakistan cricket, I think a win here will definitely ease the pain of Pakistani cricket fans.

  9. Aus 138-8published at 39 overs

Nashra Sandhu is bowled out and ends with impressive figures of 3-37.

It's a frustrating end to her spell, though, and a wide delivery is put away for four by Alana King, ending a run of 30 balls without a boundary.

It was a thick outside edge and the ball hung in the air for a while but it was well clear of the nearest fielder at point.

Australia's positive running continues as they take five from Fatima Sana's over.

One if those is a bonus as the fielder has a shy at the stumps despite Alana King being comfortably home. The ball ricochets into a gap and allows the batters to run a second.

  12. Aus 128-8published at 37 overs

Nashra Sandhu is back and produces a couple of lovely flighted deliveries that find Alana King's outside edge - there's no slip in for the first and on the second the ball goes wide of the fielder and away for two.

    Five from the over.

I think Australia main focus now is that they are going to try and bat out these overs and one thing about them is that they always believe in themselves.

  14. Aus 123-8published at 36 overs

A pair of singles from Diana Baig's latest.

After all the excitement as Pakistan reduced Australia to 76-7, there is a growing sense in the office that Australia might not be too far off a winning total now...

  16. Aus 121-8published at 35 overs

Aggressive running from Beth Mooney after punching the ball out to deep cover, making sure Alana King is on her toes as she sprints back for a second.

A couple more singles follow from the Rameen Shamim over. Can Pakistan finish this off quickly or will Mooney manage to get Australia up to 150-plus?

Sidra Nawaz - wow! She is some keeper.

  18. Aus 117-8published at 34 overs

Not what Pakistan would want with a new batter, Alana King, at the crease - two more wides from Diana Baig.

Every run will be crucial in this match and that is two freebies for Australia.

I feel like Australia did just have momentum going their way and now Pakistan have just broken that, I think Mooney will be really disappointed.

'Brilliant bit of wicket-keeping' - Garth is stumped by Nawaz off the bowling of Baig

It's out - stumped off a wide! Fantastic work by wicketkeeper Sidra Nawaz.

Diana Baig angles the ball down leg, Nawaz takes it superbly and as Kim Garth overbalances slightly, the Pakistan keeper whips off the bails.

It's close but Garth has nothing behind the line and Pakistan have an eighth wicket.
