One of the few genuinely drivable deliveries we've seen so far, on about seventh stump so the width is there for Dockrell to go after it.

  2. Ire 28-4published at 5.0 overs

George Dockrell smashes successive boundaries off Shaheen Afridi to give Ireland a little bit of confidence.

Ireland have played a shot to almost every delivery so far.

  4. Ire 17-4published at 4.0 overs

Ireland are in deep, deep trouble with Curtis Campher and George Dockrell now in the middle facing a ferocious Pakistan attack.

Shaheen Afridi has got the ball on a string and he's tied Ireland up in knots with that string.

On replay, it looked like that might be tailing down leg, though, so I'm surprised he didn't review.

Tector lbw Afridi 0 (Ire 15-4)

More superb bowling from Shaheen Afridi and this time he gets his man as the finger goes up and Harry Tector is on his way.

Just as well for Pakistan - two balls earlier Tector actually edged one behind but it was given not out and they couldn't review.

Surely in no T20I has a team burnt both their reviews in 14 deliveries? Pakistan have none left.

I think that is a guilt trip. There was a lot of pressure being put on Babar Azam.

I thought it was doing too much and going down leg.

  11. Not outpublished at 2.2 overs

    Ire 11-3

Pakistan burn their second review for lbw as it shows Shaheen Afridi's delivery to Curtis Campher was pitching outside leg.

One way or another, people are getting their money's worth here. There's been no shortage of action!

  13. Ire 8-3published at 2.0 overs

Ireland need a big recovery here or this could be a very early finish.

This is not a shot that Paul Stirling is going to want to see again. Not his finest moment. That was ill-advised.

    Nowhere near a drivable length.

It's another one gone. A remarkably expansive stroke given the conditions as Stirling danced down the track.

    WICKETpublished at 1.4 overs

    Stirling 1 c Rizwan b Amir (Ire 4-3)

Well, it's gone horribly wrong for the Irish as skipper Paul Stirling is next to go as Muhammad Rizwan again takes the catch from an outside edge.

More great bowling from Pakistan, this time from Mohammad Amir.

Afridi gave it out, Rizwan gave it out and it looked out from up here but that was a good decision from the umpire.

  18. Not outpublished at 1.0 overs

    Ire 2-2

It might have been three wickets in the opening over as Harry Tector survives a Pakistan review for lbw from the last ball.

It looked close but given not out on the field and was umpire's call on impact and just missing the stumps.

The in-swinger set this one up. He's been shaping it in then angles this one across Lorcan Tucker.

Just a feather behind. Tremendous from Shaheen Afridi.

This could be very short and sweet for Ireland if it carries on like this.
