  1. Brave 77-3published at 30 balls left

    Need 19 more to win

Tidy set from Deandra Dottin with just the four singles from it.

That's all Southern Brave need, though. They will quite happily do it in singles from here.

Kemp is very calm and measured, so a good person to come in at this point.

Laura Wolvaardt has got to get her team across the line now. It is very important that she bats through this innings.

  3. Brave 73-3published at 35 balls left

    Target 96

Freya Kemp thumps the ball back past Melie Kerr.

In the air - was that a chance? Possibly but it was hit very hard and Kerr could only stick out a hand as the ball whistled past her fingertips.

Southern Brave need just 23 more to win.

  4. Not outpublished at 40 balls left

    Brave 68-3

    Close!

Umpire's call with the ball clipping leg stump.

Unfortunate for Danielle Gregory and Manchester Originals. That could have made things very interesting.

The on-field call was all important and Laura Wolvaardt survives.

    Scott Read

This feels like an appeal because of who it is on strike, rather than the fielders believing it is out.

  6. Originals reviewpublished at 41 balls left

Has Danielle Gregory got another one?

Laura Wolvaardt misses one as she goes back trying to clip to leg and Beth Mooney sends it upstairs.

Sophie Devine cannot believe she has done that. She could have hit it absolutely anywhere.

It was short and there to be pulled. Devine has unfortunately picked out the fielder.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 46 balls left

    Devine c Kerr b Gregory 0 (Brave 64-3)

    Smashed straight to short mid-wicket!

Short again from Danielle Gregory but this time it works for the spinner as Sophie Devine nails it in the air to her New Zealand team-mate Melie Kerr.

Very sharp grab, Devine goes without troubling the scorers and Originals are giving themselves a very small chance.

Manchester Originals need to show fight and character and their fielding needs to be exemplary. Net run-rate is a huge thing in this tournament so dragging this out is hugely important for them.

Equally, Brave need to get this done.

  10. Brave 63-2published at 49 balls left

    Target 96

Just when Manchester Originals would have hoped to try and create a bit of pressure after the wicket, a long hop.

A real loosener from Danielle Gregory and Laura Wolvaardt pummels it leg side for four.

That is what Sophie Ecclestone can do. You can see it in her face that she has almost surprised herself. It spun sharply and we haven't seen a lot of that so far.

A key wicket. Originals can cause carnage now.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 50 balls left

    Wyatt-Hodge b Ecclestone 32 (Brave 59-2)

Bowled 'er! A ripper from Sophie Ecclestone!

It might not make much difference in the outcome of this game but that's a beauty from the England spinner.

Full, pitching on middle and turning away to beat the bat of Danni Wyatt-Hodge and hit off stump.

Doesn't get much better than that for a left-arm spinner.

Melie Kerr is struggling with her length a bit today. She is normally in at those stumps and plays the googly really well to cramp the batter.

If she gets her line right, she is very hard to beat.

  14. Brave 55-1published at 55 balls left

    Target 96

Second ball after the timeout and Laura Wolvaardt unfurls one of her gorgeous cover drives.

The ball was tossed up by Melie Kerr and Wolvaardt waited for it before stroking it elegantly to the boundary.

    Southern Brave are cruising it.

Originals need Ecclestone to be at her very best here. She knows Danni Wyatt-Hodge very well from England and has set her field accordingly.

  16. Brave 48-1published at 60 balls left

    Target 96

Three dot balls to start the set from Sophie Ecclestone but the moment she strays ever so slightly, Danni Wyatt-Hodge punishes her.

Leg stump delivery and Wyatt-Hodge sweeps up and over short fine leg for four.

A quick single completes the set and they're going to take a strategic timeout.

  17. Brave 43-1published at 65 balls left

    Target 96

Very loose to finish the set from Deandra Dottin and you don't have to be a lip-reading expert to see that she is not very happy with herself.

Too short and angling down leg, allowing Danni Wyatt-Hodge to thump the ball away behind square on the pull. Four more.

  18. Brave 37-1published at 68 balls left

    Target 96

Edged... and just wide of Beth Mooney for four.

So nearly a second wicket for Deandra Dottin but just enough bat on it from Danni Wyatt-Hodge to beat the Originals wicketkeeper.

    Shachi Pai
Former Lancashire batter on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Fi Morris looked at Seren Smale straight away. She wasn't 100% sure whether she had it or not.

She definitely stopped four runs, however.

  20. Brave 32-1published at 70 balls left

    Target 96

Melie Kerr is on to bowl her leg-spin and it's an eventful start.

Her first ball is put away fine by Danni Wyatt-Hodge for four and a couple of balls later, the England batter hits aetially towards mid-off.

Fi Morris dives to try and take the catch but doesn't look convinced she got there. It's goes up stairs and no, couldn't quite get her hands under the ball.

Not out but good start from Kerr with that boundary the only runs from the set.
