  1. Ban 13-0published at 1 over

    Target 116

    Brilliant start for Bangladesh.

One over down and, needless to say, if they keep going at 13-an-over, they'll be heading into the semi-finals.

  2. Ban 12-0published at 0.5 overs

    Target 116

    SIX!

Absolutely nailed over the leg side by Litton Das!

The ball looks to be coming on nicely. Great news for Bangladesh, not so much for Afghanistan.

  3. Ban 6-0published at 0.4 overs

    Target 116

    Streaky but four!

Litton Das throws his hands at a wide delivery from Naveen-ul-Haq, the ball flies off the outside edge but up and over slip to the boundary.

There's no time for hesitation - it's do or die now.

  5. Ban 1-0published at 0.1 overs

    Target 116

Naveen-ul-Haq comes in to bowl the first ball and Litton Das punches it to mid-off for a single.

    Bangladesh are up and running.

No overs lost so the situation is this.

Bangladesh need 116 to win. If they do it in 12.1 overs, they progress to the semi-finals, if they win later than that Australia go through.

For Afghanistan it's more straightforward. Win and they're into the last four of an ICC event for the very first time.

The Afghanistan players are in a huddle by the side of the pitch.

A restart is imminent. One innings to decide the fate of three teams at this T20 World Cup...

  8. 'The sky is the limit' - where does USA cricket go after T20 World Cup?published at 03:40 British Summer Time 25 June

For now the American dream is over.

The USA are out of the T20 World Cup and depart after a sorry 10-wicket thrashing at the hands of England.

But their run to the Super 8s will remain one of the lasting memories of this tournament.

So how do they reflect on their performance? What's next? And how far can the USA go?

News from St Vincent and it's positive - certainly for Bangladesh and Australia.

The covers are off and the players are out warming up.

    No official restart time yet.

  10. England peaking at right time - Livingstonepublished at 03:30 British Summer Time 25 June

That semi-final against India looks like it will be a real challenge for England but all-rounder Liam Livingstone says they are peaking at the right time.

Having only edged through the first group stage via their net run-rate, England qualified for the last four by thrashing the United States on Sunday.

They will play the tournament favourites in Guyana in the second semi-final on Thursday at 15:30 BST after India beat Australia by 24 runs in the Super 8s.

"In tournament cricket sometimes it is better to sneak up and nick it at the end," said Livingstone.

"Hopefully that is the way we will go."

While we await news from St Vincent, let's look back at the best of the action from India's win over Australia yesterday afternoon.

That result sent India through to the semis, where they'll play England, and leave Australia's hopes hanging in the balance...

  12. How's stat?!published at 03:20 British Summer Time 25 June

Afghanistan played and missed at 31 deliveries this evening - this ranks joint 10th (or third if only considering Full Member sides) in this World Cup, with Ireland’s 42 play and misses against Pakistan out in front.

In fact, the rain has now stopped.

Bangladesh will be pleased to see that. The mop-up operation is already under way.

If we get a full 20 overs in, Bangladesh can make it through to the semis if they chase this down in 12.1 overs.

Should they level the scores then hit a six to win it, they would progress if they did it in 12.4 overs.

But given there were 66 dot balls in the Afghanistan innings, I'm going to say that won't be easy.

    Thanks, Mike.

The rain doesn't look quite as biblical in St Vincent now, which is good news for Bangladesh and Australia.

It is still raining, though, and after that first innings, Afghanistan won't be too disappointed if it rains for the next few hours.

If they don't get back on, Afghanistan go through...

Right, for some rainwatching and hopefully a bit of cricket I'm going to hand you over to Sam Drury.

Let's stay positive for now and assume we won't lose any overs.

If that's the case, Bangladesh will need to chase this Afghanistan total in 12.1 overs to progress to the semi-finals.

Win after that point and it's Australia that go through.

It is raining hard and all the heavy-duty covers are being nailed on.

That could throw a spanner in the works.

Absolutely bucketing it down in St Vincent now.

We can take a little solace from the fact we had exactly the same sort of downpour in Antigua yesterday and they were back on in an hour.

There's a strong breeze that will hopefully blow away the rain.

That is a huge finish and Afghanistan take a bit of momentum off with them.

But does the rain coming down just quicken the surface up a touch? It's been a little while with the rain coming down before the covers came on.

There are some nervous looking faces from both sides.

What a dramatic last over. We had bats being thrown, two sixes by Rashid Khan and the rain is falling!

115 is a low score but it is a score.
