  1. 6 runs

    Afg 115-5published at 20 overs

    Six to end the innings!

Clouted over mid-wicket, right in the slot for Rashid who might feel a little happier now.

15 from the over, and on come the covers with the rain coming down steadily.

  2. Afg 109-5published at 19.3 overs

    My word!

Rashid Khan pushes Tanzim for one and sets off a second but partner Karim Janat sends him back when he's halfway down the pitch.

Khan hurls his bat to the ground in frustration before retreating to his crease.

That's what Rashid Khan was looking for in the last over.

He flays that away over the off side, fast hands through the ball.

    This is interesting.

If it is rained off then Afghanistan go to the semi-finals. But a shortened game would help Bangladesh.

So do they want the rain or not?

  5. Afg 107-5published at 19.2 overs

Maybe Rishad Khan should bat up the order!

He cleaves Tanzim away for six over point!

Hello, a touch of drizzle - the groundstaff are getting ready at the boundary.

This has been a mediocre innings from Afghanistan, but a wash-out would see them through...

  8. Afg 100-5published at 19 overs

And that's the only run from the 19th over!

Great death bowling from Mustafizur - who closes on figures of 1-17 - with Rishad Khan unable to dispatch his cutters.

One over to go, Afghanistan desperately need some runs from it.

Taskin Ahmed had gone for six from his first 23 balls and the last one doubles his figures, still an outstanding day out.

But that is sublime from Rashid Khan. He is not going to die wondering.

Rashid Khan could be playing a very short but important innings here.

  12. 6 runs

    Afg 99-5published at 18 overs

    No wicket maiden for Taskin.

Rashid Khan sets himself with a guard that's creeping towards point and lofts the Bangladesh seamer over mid-wicket for the second six of the innings.

Taskin finishes with figures of 1-12, half those runs coming from his final ball.

That is just a heave across the line from Mohammad Nabi.

The slide continues for Afghanistan and there's not much time left to go.

    Another skier, another wicket!

Big waft from the veteran Nabi sends the ball into the air near mid-off - captain Shanto claims it, and Afghanistan are in deep trouble.

    In comes Rashid Khan.

Afghanistan head coach Jonathan Trott is not happy. He turns to his batting coach and starts ranting.

  16. Afg 93-4published at 17 overs

New batter Karim Janat picks up four from his second delivery, lashing through the covers.

That's Rishad's lot - his superb 3-26 takes him up to 14 for the tournament, just behind Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi and India's Arshdeep Singh, who have 15 apiece.

Meanwhile Winviz is starting to side with Bangladesh now.

That's a cracking catch. An excellent effort haring in off the boundary, keeping the head level, the eyes level.

Two new men at the crease for Afghanistan. This is starting to feel good for Bangladesh.

Second wicket of the over - Rishad is on fire!

Gulbadin Naib's contribution lasts three balls - he offers up a huge leading edge trying to whack the young leggie into the leg side.

Soumya Sarkar hares in from deep cover to take the catch, superb stuff.

It has the feeling that Gurbaz's innings will be match-defining - one way or another.

He was trying to break the shackles. He gets the full, wide ball outside off stump, he loves going up over the off side but he doesn't get all of it.

A well-made 43? Or are there going to be questions asked? Has he left his lower order a lot of work to do?
