  1. Ire 62-6published at 13 overs

    Target 138

Ireland haven't hit a boundary since the final delivery of the powerplay. No six in the city. Now it's down to the tail to do what the top order couldn't. I'm trying to think if this would be the greatest win in Canada's history.

    Fred Trueman.

Canada are up and about, they are the better team today.

  3. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.3 overs

    Delany c Movva b Heyliger 3 (Ire 59-6)

It's simply awful from Ireland. Canada are doing to them what they have done to say many before.

This time it's Gareth Delany, edging behind off the impressive pace of Dilon Heylinger.

This game is done, I reckon.

    Frank Tyson.

  4. Ire 57-5published at 12 overs

    Target 138

This was the win predictor at the fall of the wicket. Even that seems optimistic from an Ireland point of view.

Ted Dexter (pleased with that one).

The air is full of expectancy, you think something is going to happen from every delivery now.

  6. Ire 53-5published at 11 overs

    Target 138

I'll be honest. I don't see how Ireland win this.

    Micky Stewart.

That's a great catch. Aaron Johnson diving forward and taking the grab. We've seen some superb fielding today. Canada are favourites now.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 10.5 overs

    Campher c Johnson b Heyliger 4 (Ire 53-5)

What a catch! Is that the ball game?

It's Aaron Johnson, lumbering around the fine leg boundary, swooping low to take a blinder. Think Glenn McGrath off Michael Vaughan.

Curtis Campher has to go. Ireland's hopes might go with him.

    Derek Randall!

Ireland are not looking for the big shots but will be looking to pick up the runs and if they can keep the wickets in hand Ireland have the better experience.

  10. Ire 50-4published at 10 overs

    Target 138

George Dockrell is here. Ireland are four down and need 88. This win predictor is generous, I reckon.

    Ian Greig.

What a game we've got on our hands! Ireland are on the brink.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 10 overs

Tucker run out (Kirton) 10 (Ire 50-4)

It's a calamity for Ireland. Lorcan Tucker at the non-striker's end. The throw comes in from Kirton on the off side, bowler Zafar just about has it in his fingernails when the stumps are broken. No dive from Tucker. That might have saved him.

They might be toast, you know.

    Tony Greig.

  13. Third umpirepublished at 10 overs

Real trouble here. Canada think this is run out.

The spinners are strangling Ireland here.

  15. Not outpublished at 9.1 overs

    Ire 46-3

They wanted everything, but there's no bat for the catch and it's hit him outside the line of off stump. Play on.

    Bob Taylor.

  16. Canada reviewpublished at 9.1 overs

    Ire 46-3

What's going on here? Canada are convinced they've got Tucker.

    Greg Thomas.

  17. Ire 46-3published at 9 overs

    Target 138

Ireland are totally subdued. Junaid Siddiqui rattles through an over that costs only three. How many is too many in the second half?

    Danni Hazell.

These are nervous hesitant times for Ireland. They're not sure what to do here.

  19. Ire 43-3published at 8 overs

    Target 138

WinViz has got Ireland ahead. I'm not sure I agree. Curtis Campher is the new man, with a lot of work to do.

Ireland are rocking here. The last couple of deliveries haven't been awful. That's a left-arm spinners dream.
