  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 6 April

    McKinney c Clarke b Tongue 37 (Notts 579 v Durham 378 & 100-3)

Late wicket for Notts and it's well deserved.

Ben McKinney was troubled by Josh Tongue several times and was dropped in his previous over, but the drop costs just four runs.

Bowling around the wicket to the left-hander, Tongue gets one to straighten, finds the edge and wicketkeeper Joe Clarke takes a good low catch diving to his left.

    Ollie Robinson is in.

    Warks 454 v Sussex 528 & 119-2

Another one of those that if they stick they're spectacular.

    Fernando b Green 1 (Glamorgan 229 & 248 v Leics 427)

The next ball is an attempted yorker to Asitha Fernando which beats everything and runs away for four byes.

Another straight one next up is too good for the Sri Lankan, though, and Glamorgan are all out with a lead of exactly 50.

Green returns 3-28, while Ian Holland took 4-46, giving him match figures of 7-86.

Dropped catchpublished at 18:11 British Summer Time 6 April

    Notts 579 v Durham 378 & 96-2

Lyndon James grasses his second catch of the match at first slip.

Josh Tongue finds Ben McKinney's outside edge and it flies straight to James at a nice height. But it's straight in and straight out.

    McKinney is dropped on 33.

But he did make 125 super runs so swings and roundabouts.

Of course, McKinney adds salt to the wound by thumping the very next ball for four.

Eight overs remaining. Durham trail by 105.

Essex players celebrate taking a Surrey wicketImage source, Rex Features

Essex worked really hard to get through the Surrey batting line-up with Simon Harmer taking 4-83.

Ben Foakes finished 92 not out and shared in three 50 partnerships to prevent a complete collapse.

The pitch remains pretty lifeless but Harmer and co on a fourth day surface will still think they can get the job done.

On a good pitch, Worcestershire have applied themselves with determination and application in this second innings.

    Somerset 670-7 dec v Worcs 154 & 280-5

Somerset will resume on the final morning needing five more wickets for victory, while Worcestershire need 236 more runs to avoid an innings defeat.

The hosts have had to battle hard for their wickets on a pitch not offering them much help.

A fine fifth-wicket partnership between Brett D'Oliveira (71*) and Adam Hose (85) had given the visitors a little hope, but it was finally separated with the new ball late in the day.

A cheer erupts as the slip cordon hears a noise before James Rew takes a tumbling catch. It did not come off the bat mind you.

The nighthawk then whips Overton square to the boundary to get off the mark in some style.

    One to go.
