Hello - is this about to get interesting?

Brilliant fielding on the boundary from Graham Clark keeps Lyndon James down to a single.

But there’s no stopping that as Josh Tongue steps down the wicket to George Drissell and smashes it through point for four.

    Adrian Harms

Ed Barnard might have been thinking about his tea. He will be annoyed with himself, he'll feel there was 100 there for the taking.

It was a very stylish innings from him.

  6. Postpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 6 April

    Hants 53-1 - target 148

  11. 'Leach is so persistent in his bowling'published at 15:18 British Summer Time 6 April

    Somerset 670-7 dec v Worcs 154 & 167-4

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

If Somerset can break this partnership they'll be through to the Worcestershire all-rounders, with Matthew Waite next in.

Jack Leach is so persistent, he's just putting the ball in the right areas time after time and sooner or later either the ball is going to misbehave or the batsman is going to make a mistake.

He's not the best spin bowler in the world on a flat pitch but on a pitch that's giving him any reasonable measure of assistance, he can be deadly.

    Essex 582-6d v Surrey 272-7

Matthew Fisher edges between wicketkeeper Michael Pepper and Jordan Cox at slip and it races away for four precious Surrey runs.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 6 April

    Stoneman b Bess 11 (Hants 47-1 - target 148)

The brain does funny things sometimes.

Absolutely no reason for Mark Stoneman to try and hit Dom Bess over mid-wicket, the ball turns just a little, he makes no contact and is bowled.

Hampshire need another 101 as Nick Gubbins joins Fletcha Middleton.

  15. dropped catch

Yorkshire spill a second chance as Fletcha Middleton edges Jack White to first slip.

"That was regulation," says BBC Radio Solent commentator Kevan James.

Spinner Dom Bess will bowl the next over.

Four leg byes and that brings up 500 and a appreciative ripple of applause from the home faithful.

  18. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 6 April

    Derbys 2-0 - target 91

A single each for David Lloyd and Caleb Jewell as Derbyshire begin their run-chase.

A better ball next up but Adam Hose cuts it for four to bring up the Worcestershire 150.

Hose punches the next through extra cover for back-to-back boundaries to take the Pears past their first innings total.

  20. Postpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 6 April

    Hants 44-0 - target 148

Two boundaries in the latest George Hill over for Fletcha Middleton - the second thumped powerfully though the covers.

Middleton is 26 not out, while partner Mark Stoneman has nine - and is beaten by a beauty from Jack White at the beginning of the next.

White is convinced he has Stoneman lbw with his third ball, but it may have been a fraction too high.
