    Stoneman LBW b Worrall 28 (Surrey 253 v Hants 86-3)

Dan Worrall celebratesImage source, Rex Features

Dan Worrall is on for another spell before lunch and Mark Stoneman is struggling to get the ball away as he pushes into the off side.

He survives and appeal for caught behind as a shorter ball passes the top of leg stump, just evading bat and glove.

    He's gone now!

Full of length this time and Stoneman is stuck on the crease.

    Tom Prest is in next.

  2. 50 runs

50 for James Rewpublished at 12:21 British Summer Time 12 April

    Sussex 294 v Somerset 150-7

    Well batted James Rew.

He began the day on 0 and has reached his 50 from 61 balls in the sunshine this morning.

Tom Lammonby and Kasey Aldridge departed early this morning with Somerset looking in trouble but Rew and Lewis Gregory have done a great job of putting their side back into contention.

How long can these two last?

  3. 'Yorkshire attack starting to build some pressure'published at 12:20 British Summer Time 12 April

    Yorkshire 456 v Worcs 39-0

    Jonathan Doidge
    BBC Radio Leeds cricket commentator

Jack White is looking favourite to pick up a wicket at the start of the Worcestershire innings - he's got a bit of nip. If he carries on in this vain it won't be long before he gets some reward.

A good over from Jordan Thompson to start things off, another good over here, they are just starting to build some pressure after a handy start for the Pears.

  4. Postpublished at 12:19 British Summer Time 12 April

    Sussex 294 v Somerset 145-7

A boundary from James Rew takes him to 49.

There was some talk of Somerset having to follow on here such was their position of peril at one stage but Rew and Lewis Gregory have made sure that won't happen now.

  5. Postpublished at 5.3 overs

    Durham 387 v Warwicks 21-0

Great shot by Alex Davies, who whips Ben Raine through mid-wicket for four and adds a little flourish for good measure.

Very reminiscent of King Viv and KP in their pomp.

  6. Postpublished at 12:16 British Summer Time 12 April

    Notts 347 v Essex 20-0

    Charlie AllisonImage source, Rex Features

So far so good for Essex as Charlie Allison and Paul Walter look to get some early runs on the board.

  7. Postpublished at 12:16 British Summer Time 12 April

    Lancs v Northants 413-7

More runs for Calvin Harrison, driving straight down the ground off Anderson Phillip - who responds with shorter deliveries thereafter.

A big LBW appeal against Lewis McManus at the other end as he misses a sweep off spinner Tom Hartley, but he's just outside the line.

  8. Postpublished at 12:14 British Summer Time 12 April

    Surrey 253 v Hants 86-2

Mark Stoneman clips Matt Fisher into the on side and that's a leg bye.

Toby Albert faces his first ball and watches it nip away off the seam through to the keeper.

Jordan Clark is coming on to bowl from the other end and Stoneman pulls from outside the line of off stump for a single to move to 28.

Albert is beaten outside off stump by Clark but survives the over.

  9. Postpublished at 3.5 overs

    Durham 387 v Warwicks 16-0

    Matthew Potts cannot believe that.

Having been deftly dabbed away for four at the start of his second over, he angles one into Alex Davies' pads and is absolutely convinced that he has his man.

    The umpire isn't, though.

  10. Postpublished at 2.3 overs

    Durham 387 v Warwicks 12-0

It says a lot about the quality of Ben Raine and Matthew Potts that Brendan Doggett is not given the new ball by Durham.

He was Player of the Match in the recent Sheffield Shield final down under after taking 11 wickets to help South Australia lift the trophy.

Alex Davies squeezes a ball from Potts down to third man for Warwickshire's first boundary and Rob Yates carves Raine away through point in the next over before edging the following delivery through the slips for another boundary.

  11. Postpublished at 12:08 British Summer Time 12 April

    Lancs v Northants 409-7

Four runs to Calvin Harrison, who drives the second ball of his innings confidently through long off.

Maiden over from Tom Hartley at the other end.

  12. 50 runs

50 partnershippublished at 12:07 British Summer Time 12 April

    Sussex 294 v Somerset 134-7

Much better from Somerset's point of view as James Rew and Lewis Gregory develop a much-needed partnership for the visitors.

Gregory is on 20 and Rew is six short of a half-century.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:06 British Summer Time 12 April

    Gubbins c Pope b Lawrence 43 (Surrey 253 v Hants 84-2)

Dan Lawrence is coming on to bowl a bit of off spin with a slip and a leg slip in place.

Nick Gubbins tries to work a leg stump ball to fine leg and he's out! Caught at leg slip.

A patient vigil is ended as Gubbins taps his bat in frustration.

    Toby Albert to bat next.

  14. Postpublished at 6.2 overs

    Yorks 456 v Worcs 29-0

So far so good for Worcestershire as Jake Libby cracks a poor ball from Ben Coad square off the back foot for four.

He is 13 not out and Gareth Roderick has 12.

  15. Division Two updatepublished at 12:04 British Summer Time 12 April

    #bbccricket

Blake Cullen polishes off the Kent tail, sending Jas Singh's stumps cartwheeling, as the hosts finish on 218, conceding a first innings deficit of four to Middlesex.

Kashif Ali was superbly run-out by Zafar Gohar from the boundary earlier in Cullen's over.

We'll have a one-innings shootout in the sun-soaked Garden of England.

Leicestershire have made a perfect start at Grace Road with Derbyshire opener David Lloyd ousted for five by Logan van Beek, fresh as a daisy despite his batting heroics, clearly. The visitors trail by 479 with nine wickets remaining.

Gloucestershire's mammoth innings is showing signs of petering out as Ben Kellaway has run out James Bracey for 24 and the hosts are now 429-6 against Glamorgan at Bristol, having to settle for four batting points.

  16. Durham all out in ClSpublished at 12:00 British Summer Time 12 April

    Durham 387 v Warwickshire, Ali 4-66

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Matthew Potts looked set for a second consecutive century against Warwickshire, having come in yesterday afternoon with Durham on 234-7.

He batted really nicely and added 120 for the eighth wicket with Ben McKinney. Whern McKinney was out for 153, Potts continued to push the scoring rate along.

But he was eventually out for 70, stumped by Kai Smith off the bowling of Tazeem Ali. The decision from umpire Paul Pollard left the batsman looking rather stunned.

Durham were then dismissed for 387 as debutant Aussie Brendan Doggett got a third ball duck, LBW to Ali, who finished with career-best figures of 4-66. Having said that, the 18-year-old leg spinner is only playing in his second match.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:00 British Summer Time 12 April

Broad run out (Bailey) 19 (Lancs v Northants 403-7)

One ball after passing the 400 mark, Northants have lost Justin Broad to an ill-judged single into the off side facing Tom Hartley.

That's a clean pick up and throw from Tom Bailey at point.

Notts loan player Calvin Harrison will bat next.

  18. Postpublished at 0.3 overs

    Durham 387 v Warwicks 0-0

Three slips in place, Ben Raine will bowl the first over for Durham.

Rob Yates is on strike, fresh from scores of 115 and 65 not out against Sussex last weekend.

Raine thinks he has his man with his third delivery but the umpire rejects a very confident lbw appeal.

  19. Postpublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 12 April

    Yorks 456 v Worcs 18-0

A few minutes ago we mentioned a brilliant catch by Rob Jones which ended Yorkshire's first innings against Worcestershire at Headingley.

This was the moment of completion after he batted it back from beyond the rope.....

Leicestershire's innings has come to an end with the Foxes posting 484 after being put in against Derbyshire at Grace Road with Logan van Beek ending unbeaten on 82, Tom Scriven the last man to go for 38. Bonus points galore.

Gloucestershire have a fourth batting point against Glamorgan but at 413-5 will struggle to make it five with overs running out. Miles Hammond made 54 before falling to Timm van der Gugten but James Bracey has started nicely at Bristol.

Kashif Ali and Jas SIngh are edging Kent towards a slender first innings lead against Middlesex at Canterbury. The hosts are nine behind but are down to their final two wickets.
