    Last ball of the over...

Another four! He edges it and there are no slips in place to catch it or stop it!

  9. 'Hants' Championship campaign is on an upward curve'published at 18:27 3 July

Hampshire beat Kent by six wickets

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Hampshire have won this game by six wickets with a massive amount of time to spare.

They've made that victory target look very, very simple indeed and they've done it with superb batting under pressure.

Hampshire's Championship campaign is on an upward curve. They've won three of their last four.

But I'm afraid for Kent it's been a difficult few Championship games where they have now lost four from four.

  10. 'This has been epic'published at 18:26 3 July

Somerset have pulled off quite a remarkable victory over Warwickshire.

It brings them 20 points and second in the Championship table.

This has been a historic day at the County Ground.

This game has been played in a very good spirit.

What an innings from Tom Abell and what a run chase from Somerset.

  14. HAMPSHIRE WIN BY SIX WICKETSpublished at 18:17 3 July

    Hampshire 180-4 - target 179 v Kent

James Fuller edges Grant Stewart for four down to third and have chased down 179 with more than eight overs to spare.

That's a third win in four games for Hampshire, and this is one which get spoken about for a long time.

James Vince's 211 and 110 from Ben Brown in the first innings saw Hampshire post 505-8d and then enforce the follow-on despite Jack Leaning's gritty 118.

Kent managed to claw their way to a lead of 178 but it wasn't enough, despite the weather threatening to come to their aid, as Liam Dawson guided the hosts home with an innings worthy of winning any T20 encounter - hitting 56 not out from 28 balls.

Kent are bang in trouble at the foot of the table, Hampshire are looking towards the top of it.

    Hampshire 171-3 - target 179 v Kent

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

I don't think anyone from a Hampshire point of view should have worried in the end.

The way they've gone about this innings - it's almost been the perfect chase.

They are going at it hell for leather because there could be rain at any moment.

So even though they are relatively safe I don't think you'll find any let up.
