  6. Postpublished at 18:03 British Summer Time 3 July

    Hampshire 162-3 - target 179 v Kent

Kent are getting a slow hand clap from the spectators as they perceive they are trying to stall the game with the threat of weather.

Charlie Stobo gets ironic cheers as he gifts the hosts four overthrows with an ill-judged shy at the timbers.

17 runs needed to win off 11 overs.

They might just need one here.

They're not far too away now as Rew hits another boundary.

    Just 22 needed.

    Somerset 284 & 376-5 v Warwickshire 412 & 281-8 dec

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Chris Woakes and Olly Hannon-Dalby do give a little bit more control but it's going to have to be wickets if Warwickshire are to spare themselves a third Championship defeat of the season.

Somerset are looking to produce a third win.

Wins are not easy to come about for anyone this year, if you're not called Surrey.

  13. Postpublished at 17:57 British Summer Time 3 July

  16. 'Defeat would leave Bears in danger of drop'published at 17:55 British Summer Time 3 July

    Somerset 284 & 365-5 v Warwickshire 412 & 281-8 dec

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

The only way Warwickshire defend this from here is to take wickets which haven't looked like coming.

There's been little by way if anything of lateral movement today, whether through the air or off the pitch.

Not really a hit of turn for the spinners and Somerset have gone exactly the right way of taking advantage of that.

Defeat would have the Bears very much in danger of the drop to Division Two.

    Gloucestershire v Glamorgan 555-8 - Target 593

With Sam Northeast out, the field comes in and the slips return.

    Hearts are pumping in Cheltenham!
