    Another one?!

In-swinging yorker from Jofra Archer, and that's struck Shubman Gill in front.

A bit of bat first perhaps - that's what the umpire thinks.

England hesitate for a while, but decide to send it upstairs, keen to maintain momentum.

If anyone happens to be in north Greece and wants to give Nicholas a lift?

Maybe he can then get to listen to the rest of today's play in the comfort of a taverna.

We almost got my colleague Matthew Henry's van refueled in New Zealand over the winter, who knows what the BBC cricket live text can do...

Nicholas Hoult: I listen to your coverage sitting by the side of a rural mountain road in northern Greece. I've spent the last 300 days walking here from my home in Dorset, wild camping as I have been going.

Right now I'm trying to hitchike (as it's so hot that I'm vapourising up through the fabric of my hat) but cars are passing at a rate of less than two an hour and so far they are doing just that: passing. They must be as enthralled as I am by your coverage and are therefore distracted and not noticing me.

Thank you for keeping me sane under the shade of this tree for the last few hours, and for accompanying much of my adventure over the last month. I shall let you know if my luck changes!

England batter Danni Wyatt-Hodge says the inaugural women's T20 Blast finals day at The Oval will not be her only focus on Sunday.

England's all-time leading T20 run-scorer is firmly behind the Lionesses in Sunday's Euro 2025 final, because she knows what another triumph would mean for women's sport in England.

"This is going to be huge if the Lionesses win the Euros again," said Wyatt-Hodge. "It's going to be so good for women's football and for women's sport because it gets everyone talking about it again."

Jaiswal was undone by seam movement from Woakes. A full-pitched delivery meant that the deviation wasn't obvious to the naked eye, but of the 42 first-over deliveries Jaiswal has faced from Woakes this series, that had the second most movement off the seam.

And this is a big reason why England now stand a chance of having Sunday off.

Chris Woakes dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sai Sudharsan with successive deliveries in the first over of India's second innings.

    Soak it up.

A truly thrilling session of Test cricket. I need some sustenance to replenish the energy levels.

Nobody has started with a double-wicket maiden against India other than Ray Lindwall who did twice in 1947-48 but they were eight-ball overs. Chris Woakes has now done it as well.

  15. India 1-2 at lunchpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 26 July

KL Rahul leaves the final ball of Chris Woakes' over and manages to survive with his wicket in tact.

India are in all sorts of trouble two down and 310 behind.

England will have half an eye on wrapping this up in two sessions and a Sunday afternoon tee somewhere.

India went with the light roller on the pitch. Normally you see the heavy one fired up but a light roller suggest that they didn't entirely trust the surface.

I wouldn’t mind watching England bat before lunch.

  19. ouch!

    Ind 1-2published at 2 overs

More nippage from Jofra Archer who jags one back into the ribcage of Shubman Gill.

Not a flicker of emotion from the India captain who shrugs it off. He'll have a bruise there if he isn't wearing a chest guard.

The last thing these young Indian batters want to think about is batting for the day as they are naturally aggressive batters. This is a good learning curve for these players and they need to play naturally rather than force things.
