    The second new ball swung an average of 1.8º for the Indian seamers, taking three wickets this morning. The first replacement ball at 90.4 overs swung an average of 0.8º and another replacement at 98.4 has seen the current ball swing 1.2º.

    That second boundary took Brydon Carse past his Test best score of 38 from the last match. It's his eighth Test appearance.

    He gets off the mark immediately, squeezing the ball between slip and gully, open face but a bit edge-y.

    Jasprit Bumrah looks set to take the first over of the session as England resume on 353-7, with Jamie Smith on 51 and Brydon Carse on 33 in a partnership of 82.

    Back to the cricket, Jasprit Bumrah took a trio of England wickets early in the session, removing Ben Stokes before dismissing centurion Joe Root and Chris Woakes with successive deliveries.

    India then changed the ball and it all got a bit quieter.

    If you've ever wondered what's on the menu for the players at lunch, the Lord's social media account has posted what's being served., external

    The harissa marinated chicken meatballs and lamb railway curry both sound especially inviting, although the pudding situation is a bit disappointing.

    I had battered sausage, chips and peas from the BBC canteen - gravy over the peas, I might want to mix it with the chips but I want that to be my decision. I used the sausage as a breakwater.
