Thanks, Elizabeth. Australia are very good but rarely boring, to be fair...

They have racked up a mammoth total on the back of Phoebe Litchfield's wonderful century - and it might have been more but for a mini middle-order collapse and some dubious running between the wickets.

Still, India will require the highest successful chase in women's ODI history to reach the World Cup final.

The good news is that they have already scored far more than the 339 they need to win in an ODI chase against Australia - and only last month, too. Unfortunately for them, the 369 they scored that day still left them some way short.

At what point does Australia's dominance of the women's game become boring?

I'm going to leave this one for Sam Drury, who will take you through the rest of the interval and the first half of India's chase.

Does Australia's dominance bore you, Sam?

  3. India need 339 to winpublished at 13:22 GMT 30 October

When these two sides met in the group stage, Australia completed the highest successful chase in women's ODI history, chasing 331 with six balls to spare.

India will need to better that to reach the World Cup final, with Australia setting them 339 to win.

After Phoebe Litchfield's mesmerising 119 from 93 balls, India did well to drag it back - at one stage they were looking at a target significantly north of 350 - but Australia have to be favourites to make the final.

Australia opener Phoebe Litchfield: "It was awesome to get the personal milestone but also as a team to get over that 300 score is great.

"I assessed the wicket and then I got myself in. Credit goes to Ellyse Perry as well at the other end for keeping me going and it was a real team effort."

On hitting on the off side: "I usually hit there because the fielders are not there and I try to pick the gaps that way. I try to slice balls all of the time.

"We would have taken this score at the start but we probably left a few runs out there."

India are going to have to start well.

They need to learn from the way Phoebe Litchfield played and the way she just looked to stroke the ball. She showed the tempo you need to play on this pitch.

Australia are all out but not without putting on some serious runs. If you had offered them this score at the beginning they would have bitten your hand off.

What a party pooper Megan Schutt is. No World Cup hat-trick for Deepti Sharma.

Schutt was going for a single come what may and although Deepti nails the direct hit, she made her ground.

You have to be a good bowler to get a hat-trick in a World Cup and Deepti Sharma is on for that now.

I can feel it is going to happen.

That was a nice take and Alana King looked guilty when it was sent upstairs.

Two sixes for Ash Gardner, a slightly farcical run out, and a tidily struck four from Alana King to get her innings under way.

16 off the over. Surely Australia won't make 350?

Ash Gardner just felt the need to run without realising the fielder was up in the ring. She is spewing as she walks off.

A mix-up and a run-out. Ash Gardner is going back to the pavilion but not without having put Australia in a fabulous position.

    Oh, that's not good.

Ash Gardner drops and runs but it went straight to a fielder. Kim Garth wasn't keen for the single at the other end and they end up stood next to each other in the middle of the pitch, watching the Richa Ghosh whip the bails off.

Gardner goes for a handy 63 from 45 balls.
