England are not under any pressure here. All of the pressure is on Pakistan to get these runs.

England have underperformed with the bat so they can just go out and see what Pakistan can do.

  2. How's stat?!published at 16:56 BST

    Rufus Bullough

Linsey Smith finding a huge 3.0° of swing here, more than any other opening spell of the tournament for her. 42% of her balls have been full so far, far more than any other opening spell.

  3. Pak 33-0published at 5 overs

    Target 113 (DLS)

If Pakistan's bowlers were right on it at the start of the England innings, the same cannot be said of the England attack.

Em Arlott takes a bit of time to settle and when she does hit a decent length to find Omaima Sohail's edge, the ball goes away down to deep third for four.

Far too wide to end the over, too, and Omaima slashes it away through backward point for four more.

    Start the car...?

The way it was explained to me was imagine you bat 30 overs and are 9 down and lose 20 overs to rain. Without the rain you probably wouldn't have made it to 50 overs, but instead you got a full innings.

It is not like Linsey Smith to bowl a loopy full toss. The ball could be slipping out of her hand with the water out there.

  6. Pak 24-0published at 4 overs

    Target 113 (DLS)

Pakistan are cruising it right now.

A low full toss from Linsey Smith is driven through the covers by Omaima Sohail and runs away for four.

And again! Too full again and met on the half-volley this time by Omaima. Four more.

Omaima hits Smith for two fours in an over

  7. Pak 14-0published at 3 overs

    Target 113 (DLS)

Just a single from the last four balls of that over but it's still a good one for Pakistan, eight from it all in.

That means they need just 99 more from 28 overs.

England can not be giving away wides like that and Nat Sciver-Brunt quickly apologises.

Pakistan will be reaching each milestone in their own time.

  9. Pak 13-0published at 2.2 overs

    Target 113 (DLS)

    More gifts from Nat Sciver-Brunt.

She follows up a leg-side wide with one even further down leg. Amy Jones can't gather the second of them and it runs away for five wide.

Pakistan can barely believe their luck.

Linsey Smith is definitely the threat with the new ball for England.

There is no need to rush for Pakistan. It may be tedious but it will be a historic win, even if it takes 25 or 30 overs.

  11. Pak 6-0published at 2 overs

    Target 113 (DLS)

Well, Dean and Anon, England had a longer powerplay and once it was reduced they were able to just swing the bat despite having lost seven wickets so early. The loss of overs actually helped them.

But I'm not entirely sure how it all works, to be honest.

Anyway, Linsey Smith gets through a good first over. Just a single from it.

Can you please explain why Pakistan now need 20 fewer runs from the same number of overs that England got?

    Dean

Why is Pakistan’s target less than England's score? They have the huge benefit of being able to pace their innings for 31 overs. England did not have that knowledge when they started their innings.

  13. Pak 6-0published at 1.1 overs

    Target 113 (DLS)

It's the left-arm spin of Linsey Smith from the other end.

She's had a great knack of taking early wickets in this tournament so far. This is the time that England really need them.

  14. Pak 5-0published at 1 over

    Target 113 (DLS)

Nat Sciver-Brunt takes the new ball for England and the early indications are that Pakistan are going to take their time over this chase.

Muneeba Ali solidly blocks the first ball and pushes the second into the covers for no run.

But they'll still gratefully accept gifts... short, wide and cut away for four by Muneeba. Pakistan are up and running.

It does not matter how long it takes Pakistan to win. They can take 30 overs if they need.

You have got to do the basics right and not try to win too quickly.

Common sense has prevailed and we are going to get a pretty swift resumption. Here come the players.

Pakistan have never beaten England in a women's ODI - they are never likely to get a better chance to change that.

A reminder that England are without both Lauren Bell and Sophie Ecclestone today because of illness...

113 feels extremely gettable for Pakistan. They are not going to get a better opportunity to get a win over England.

Going to whisper it. I think we’ve got enough runs.

    Paul Oliver, Mold

Great knock from Charlie Dean. She has been England's best player so far this tournament. Great with bat, ball and in the field.

    Elly

All guns blazing but with wet gun powder.

    Breaking

OK, so we have a DLS-adjusted target.

The sums have been done and they've decided to knock 21 off England's total.

It means Pakistan require 113 from 31 overs. They're not a great batting side but they would surely back themselves to knock these off?!

This game is far from over. Pakistan will be disappointed with their last six overs and will have wanted to bowl England out.

But they have to back themselves here.
