  1. Eng 94-7published at 27 overs

Smart batting from Charlie Dean, twice picking the gap at cow corner and getting back for two on each occasion.

A couple of singles follow. That's 10 from the over, England need four more overs like that.

  2. Eng 88-7published at 26.2 overs

    Superb reverse-sweep from Charlie Dean!

Smashed into the gap at point and away for four valuable runs.

England are really going for it at this point. When they came out you wondered if they would go for it right from the start or hang around for a few overs.

It looks clear they are going fully at the bowlers.

A great bit of fielding. Charlie Dean looks to be just in!

  5. Eng 84-7published at 26 overs

A couple of risky singles from England late in the over - they have to take them on in this position.

The first throw from mid-off is wide of the mark with Em Arlott second of her ground but the second finds its mark.

Has Charlie Dean made her ground... she has! Just.

    Five overs to go...

  6. Eng 81-7published at 25.2 overs

Tossed up by Omaima Sohail and drilled to cover by Charlie Dean. Dot ball to start.

But England get moving from the second, cut backward of square for two.

What can England get to in these six overs? 100 has to be the first target, I guess. That will be a bit of a psychological landmark.

They only have Charlie Dean and Em Arlott, followed by tailenders Linsey Smith and Sarah Glenn.

I hesitate to use the word confirmed but...

Play will get back under way at 16:00 BST.

The match will now be 31 overs per side. England have already batted for 25 of those and are 79-7.

Sciver-Brunt and Fatima have both been handed some sheets of paper. I assume those were the DLS sheets.

Sciver-Brunt is doing some bowling warm-ups which would suggest England's innings is over but Pakistan's bowlers are too.

Who knows. We await official word.

Pakistan have never beaten England in an ODI. You can understand why they'd be keen to play.

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, in her training kit, has come in for a chat with the umpires now, followed by Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana who looks ready to play.

We've just seen a shot of the boundary edge and that looked squelchy.

A thumb up from the umpires. I assume that's good news?

The match referee has joined the umpires on the pitch. One particular patch seems to be the problem.

There's a bit of nodding going on between the umpires. They seem most concerned with the cut strip.

Remember England are in such a position that they wouldn't complain if this match was called off. They could take a point and move on to Indore.

Here come the umpires. They're having another look.
