  1. Glamorgan all outpublished at 12:33 British Summer Time 24 May

    Glamorgan 383 v Middlesex

Ryan Higgins completes a five-for for Middlesex as James Harris tries to swing the medium-pacer to leg and is lbw.

Higgins finishes with 5-59 from 24.4 overs but that has been very hard work for Middlesex this morning.

Having been 52-3, Glamorgan may be satisfied with that total, which was built on the big stand between Sam Northeast (122) and Kiran Carlson (109).

  2. Postpublished at 51 overs

    Surrey 157-7 v Essex 217

Jordan Clark tucks Shane Snater to fine leg for a couple as Surrey reach 150. Two balls later he launches into a powerful cover drive which brings him a second boundary of his innings.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:29 British Summer Time 24 May

    Malan lbw b Hutton 64 (Yorks 104-5 v Notts 228)

He was playing that way and sooner or later one was going to have his name on it.

Certainly no recriminations are due as Malan looks to put Hutton into the stands again, misses and is hit in front of middle stump.

His innings, which matches Joe Clarke's 64 in the first, was a momentum shifter and has given Yorkshire a platform to get close to Notts.

Brilliant stuff from Malan who has provided 74 minutes of pure entertainment.

  4. Postpublished at 12:25 British Summer Time 24 May

The sort of dismissal which would have prompted grandfathers to say 'you could have driven a bus between his bat and pad'.

Not one of Jason Roy's finest moments.

  5. Postpublished at 12:24 British Summer Time 24 May

    Durham 277 v Somerset 163-9

Matt Henry's brought his clubs out with him.

The New Zealand has heaved 21 off 12 balls as Somerset throw as much at the scoreboard as they can for the last wicket.

They've added 34 off 20 balls since they lost their ninth batter.

  6. 150 partnership for Derbyshirepublished at 12:21 British Summer Time 24 May

    Derbys 445-2 v Kent

Caleb Jewell nudges a single off Grant Stewart as he and Wayne Madsen post a 150 partnership for Derbyshire's third wicket.

The Australian is now 186 not out with his captain on 89.

    Leics 140-2 v Lancs 206

    Lewis HillImage source, Rex Features

Lewis Hill has joined Rehan Ahmed in raising his bat for a half century, his coming up as he top edges over the slip cordon.

This pair have added 117 for the third wicket and are loading pressure on this struggling Lancashire attack.

  8. 'Unlucky for Worcestershire'published at 12:19 British Summer Time 24 May

    Worcs 88-5 v Warwicks 227

    Clive Eakin
    BBC CWR Sport

It's a little unlucky for Worcestershire to be coming up against Chris Woakes and Chris Rushworth.

It was looking good for Worcestershire up until the second wicket but now, similar to the Warwickshire innings, we've seen wickets tumble quickly.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:16 British Summer Time 24 May

    Zaib c Bancroft b Bailey 159 (Northants 382-8 v Glos)

The Saif Zaib Show is off air (sad face).

Archie Bailey pushes one across the left hander and Zaib aims a lavish cover drive at it.

Unlike many others in his superb innings, he doesn't get all of it as it takes the edge and flies to Cameron Bancroft at the only (wide) slip.

    Zaib's career-best score spanned 241 balls, 353 minutes and included 17 fours.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 49.2 overs

    Overton c Pepper b Rajitha 0 (Surrey 144-7 v Essex 217)

    Kasun RajithaImage source, Rex Features

    Another one for Kasun Rajitha.

Jamie Overton tries to drive but the bat is well away from the body and it's a comfortable catch for keeper Michael Pepper.

Rajitha now has 4-49 and Surrey are now in danger of falling quite a way short of first-innings parity.

  11. 50 runs

50 for Malanpublished at 12:15 British Summer Time 24 May

    Yorks 91-5 v Notts 228

Dawid Malan races to a half century

That is a rapid half century brought up in superb style with a third six by Dawid Malan.

It has taken the former England man 57 minutes, 34 balls, and has contained seven fours in addition to the three maximums.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 112.2 overs

Cooke lbw Paterson 47 (Glamorgan 375-9 v Middlesex)

No doubt about that one as ball from Dane Paterson which keeps low traps Chris Cooke plumb in front.

Out comes Australia's Matthew Kuhnemann at number 11, his first bit of active duty in a Glamorgan shirt.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:13 British Summer Time 24 May

    D'Oliveira c Davies b Rushworth 0 (Worcestershire 88-5 v Warwickshire 227)

Chris Rushworth takes his third wicket in eight balls.

    Pears on the slide.

Brett D'Oliveira can't help it. Forward he comes and edges through to Alex Davies for a four-ball duck.

It's very hard to face this kind of stuff.

    Bears squashing the Pears atm.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:11 British Summer Time 24 May

    Duke c Verreynne b Hutton 7 (Yorks 81-5 v Notts 228)

Brett Hutton has a first wicket and there is not much Harry Duke could do with that.

Nice length but gets a bit of help from the pitch as it jumps at Duke, startling the wicketkeeper-batsman and getting the feather touch behind.

Kyle Verreynne takes the catch moving to his right.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:09 British Summer Time 24 May

    Vaughan c Ackermann b Killeen 8 (Durham 277 v Somerset 130-9)

    Mitchell KilleenImage source, Getty Images

    Five for Mitchell Killeen!!

What a championship debut this is for the 20-year-old.

Archie Vaughan is forward a bit stiffly to one just short of a length and his hard hands push the edge quickly to the right of Colin Ackermann.

Ackermann's reaction are prize-fighter sharp though and he hangs on to a fantastic catch. It's almost behind him when he grabs it.

    Brilliant.

    Killeen's figures: 9-2-24-5

  16. Postpublished at 47.2 overs

    Surrey 141-6 v Essex 217

It's a good battle between Kasun Rajitha and Sam Curran.

Rajitha has beaten the bat when he pitches the ball up, but when he is short, it's the Surrey left-hander making him pay.

Curran pulls the first ball of a new over for four and then steers the next one square through the offside for another.

Rajitha tries a bouncer but the line is awry and Curran just watches it fly through to the keeper.

  17. Postpublished at 12:07 British Summer Time 24 May

    Yorks 81-4 v Notts 228

Lyndon James is into the attack and he is punished immediately by Dawid Malan who looks like he is getting ready for Friday's T20 opener.

Two fours and a HUGE six yanked over wide midwicket (to a very long boundary) have moved the former England man to 41.

  18. 'Shake of a head from Roy'published at 12:07 British Summer Time 24 May

    Surrey 133-6 v Essex 217

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

It's good bowling from Snater, it's a shake of a head from Jason Roy.

It's a spectacular dismissal - and now it does get interesting

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:06 British Summer Time 24 May

    Jones c Davies b Rushworth 0 (Worcestershire 86-4 v Warwickshire 227)

Two in four balls for Rushworth!

It's a near identical delivery to the one that did for Gareth Roderick.

This time the edge is thinner and goes through to Bears skipper Alex Davies behind the stumps.

Rob Jones' struggles continue. Gone for an egg.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 47 overs

    Roy b Snater 0 (Surrey 133-6 v Essex 217)

No family loyalty from Shane Snater.

Jason Roy leaves a huge gap between bat and pad as he takes a step down the pitch to try and drive and loses his middle stump.

We just checked - they are cousins, apparently.
