  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:02 British Summer Time 24 May

    Roderick c Webster b Rushworth 24 (Worcestershire 86-3 v Warwickshire 227)

    Chris Rushworth joins the party.

The 38-year-old seamer has taken a million wickets and a lot of them like this.

Full of length arrowing in on middle and leg, turns the batter a bit, before the ball swings away taking the edge and flying in the bread basket of second slip.

Beau Webster bread buckets aren't dropping those.

    Gareth Roderick walks off.

  2. 50 runs

50 for Ahmedpublished at 12:02 British Summer Time 24 May

    Leics 122-2 v Lancs 206

    Rehan AhmedImage source, Rex Features

Rehan Ahmed produced a couple of tip toe flamingo efforts to punch Anderson Phillip behind point in the previous over.

Now he clips off his legs off the bowling of Will Williams to bring up his half century.

He is clearly enjoying himself out there and definitely entertaining the crowd.

  3. Postpublished at 12:00 British Summer Time 24 May

    Durham 277 v Somerset 121-8

Migael Pretorius survives the hat-trick ball!

It did keep a bit low and it threatened to get through for a second but Pretorius keeps it out.

Brilliant stuff nonetheless from Mitchell Killeen. He has 4-23.

  4. 'Good bowling from Rajitha'published at 12:00 British Summer Time 24 May

    Surrey 132-5 v Essex 217

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

It's good bowling from Rajitha and this is interesting now.

They've got the man who has been in terrific form of late.

It will be interesting to see how Jason Roy goes about this.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:57 British Summer Time 24 May

    Overton c Gay b Killeen 0 (Durham 277 v Somerset 121-8)

    Killeen on a hat-trick!

Craig Overton tries to turn it towards leg but it hits the back of the back and spoons up to gully.

    Emilio Gay bags a dolly.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 45.4 overs

    Foakes lbw Rajitha 2 (Surrey 132-5 v Essex 217)

Ben Foakes thinks he's got his front pad outside the line but the umpire doesn't agree and Kasun Rajitha has his second wicket of what has been a fine spell for Essex - and third of the innings.

Jason Roy comes out to join Sam Curran.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:54 British Summer Time 24 May

    Umeed lbw b Killeen 14 (Durham 277 v Somerset 121-7)

    Three for Killeen!

Lovely stuff again from the 20-year-old. He's squared Andy Umeed up with one that drifted before straightening and pinned him bang in front.

  8. 100 runs

100 up for Leicspublished at 11:54 British Summer Time 24 May

    Leics 105-2 v Lancs 206

And it comes with a glorious straight six from the bat of Lewis Hill who clonks Will Williams back over his head.

Leics are going very well as they reach halfway of the chase.

  9. 400 up for Derbyshirepublished at 11:50 British Summer Time 24 May

    Derbys 401-2 v Kent

Wayne Madsen goes up and over from the bowling of leg-spinner Matt Parkinson and the boundary brings Derbyshire their fourth batting point. It's unlikely they'll manage all five as they only have three more overs in which to do it.

Madsen is 62 not out and Caleb Jewell has 169.

  10. 'Such quality from Woakes'published at 11:49 British Summer Time 24 May

    Worcs 80-2 v Warwicks 227

    Kevin Howells
    BBC Test Match Special commentator

Such quality we've seen from Woakes today.

It's one of those where you're feeling a little sorry for the Worcestershire batters because they're up against a man who has quite a big nine months ahead of him internationally, let alone domestically for Warwickshire.

He wants to get back into the groove as soon as possible.

This is just terrific international-class bowling that we've seen.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:45 British Summer Time 24 May

    Abell lbw b Killeen 5 (Durham 277 v Somerset 116-6)

    No doubt about that one.

Tom Abell is caught on the crease as Mitchell Killeen races one through his defensive prod.

It's bang in front. That would be a full house of green from DRS.

    Durham all over this now.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:45 British Summer Time 24 May

    White c McCann b Pennington 18 (Yorks 52-3 v Notts 228)

    Dillon PenningtonImage source, Rex Features

Jack White has done a job but it is over.

The nightwatchman survived last night and has stuck around for 45 minutes to frustrate Notts.

He had crunched a few through the offside but had taken a few hits on the body and was clearly uncomfortable with Dillon Pennington's pace.

He is backing away from the heat there and edges to first/second slip area where Freddie McCann takes a brilliant diving catch to his right at second.

    Very good cricket all round.

  13. Postpublished at 42.4 overs

    Surrey 122-4 v Essex 217

    How did that miss?

Jamie Porter can't believe it as Ben Foakes shoulders arms to one which cuts back off the seam and just misses off stump.

  14. 150 runs

150 up for Sussexpublished at 11:43 British Summer Time 24 May

    Hants 154 v Sussex 150-5

John Simpson (32) and Fynn Hudson-Prentice (29) have made rapid progress this morning and bring up the 150 to get within one hit of a first innings lead.

The pair have added 40 in as many minutes and have, largely, looked comfortable despite overhead conditions looking favourable.

  15. 150 runs

for Saif Zaibpublished at 11:42 British Summer Time 24 May

    Northampton 362-7 v Gloucestershire

Saif Zaib already had a career best when he got to 136 yesterday and now he's notched his maiden 150.

    It's been a wonderful, match-changing knock, that's come off 221 balls with 17 fours.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:41 British Summer Time 24 May

    Nicholls b Woakes 8 (Worcestershire 80-2 v Warwickshire 227)

    Henry Nicholls gives catching practice.

That's not the best shot from the New Zealander.

It's short of a length from round the wicket from Chris Woakes and Nicholls, on his toes, has steered it straight to Sam Hain in the gully.

    Woakes making things happen here...

  17. Division Two updatepublished at 11:38 British Summer Time 24 May

Middlesex have a wicket at Cardiff with Ryan Higgins bowling Andy Gorvin as he attempts an airy drive - Glamorgan are now 355-8.

Derbyshire have progressed to 388-2 in the 105th over against Kent - Caleb Jewell is now 164 not out.

Rehan Ahmed is now 35 not out for Leicestershire, who are 87-2 in the 27th over against Lancashire.

  18. Postpublished at 11:37 British Summer Time 24 May

    Yorks 47-3 v Notts 228

Yorkshire are not hanging around to wait for one with their name on it and it is rattling along nicely at Headingley.

Dawid Malan and Jack White have hit 22 in nine balls (44..44116) to move to within three of the half century.

  19. 'Top stuff from Woakes'published at 11:36 British Summer Time 24 May

    Worcs 79-1 v Warwicks 227

    Frank Watson
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

This is top stuff from Chris Woakes.

He hasn't played all season but in the last couple of overs he has really attacked the crease quite nicely, getting into a good long stride and has been hitting good areas.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:35 British Summer Time 24 May

    Sibley c Elgar b Rajitha 41 (Surrey 122-4 v Essex 217)

    Dom SibleyImage source, Rex Features

That's a great catch by Dean Elgar at first slip, who is not distracted by wicketkeeper Michael Pepper diving in front of him and takes it millimetres above the turf.

A good ball from Kasun Rajitha too - and Essex have their first wicket of the morning.
