England and Heather Knight and Jon Lewis will be so pleased with Lauren Bell. They'll be happy with how she's responded after being under the pump a little bit with her new-ball bowling. She's shown a huge amount of character. It has been a fantastic spell from her.

Hopefully it's the first of many for her. She's somebody who could have a very long England career if she keeps bowling how she is. She's got such a point of difference with her height, pace and bounce.

It is fantastic for her and lovely to see the rest of the England team so happy for her.

Lauren Bell has a beaming smile on her face as Nat Sciver-Brunt throws her the ball, before leading the team off to rapturous applause from the crowd and her team-mates.

That might just be a match-winning spell of bowling.

  6. NZ 211-8published at 42 overs

Molly Penfold is the new batter and scrambles a single with her second delivery - the penultimate ball of the innings.

Hannah Rowe then pushes the final ball through the covers and New Zealand can run two to edge up to 211-8, meaning England need 212 to win.

The celebrations with all her teammates are lovely to watch. She's deserved it, she's been the best England bowler today and bowled incredibly well at the death.

    Five wickets for Lauren Bell!

It is another slower ball that does the trick, with Lauren Down going for the big hit but getting the timing all wrong, with Nat Sciver-Brunt taking another comfortable catch at mid-off.

  9. NZ 207-7published at 41.1 overs

Unconventional, but New Zealand won't care.

A wild swing from Hannah Rowe catches a thin edge that flies between two fielders and down to deep third for four.

That was a brilliant shot from Lauren Down. She's picked up the slower ball, given herself a bit of room and hit it really cleanly. Can she and Hannah Rowe give New Zealand a bit of momentum going into the interval?

  11. NZ 202-7published at 41 overs

Hannah Rowe is the new batter as New Zealand look to scramble what they can from the final two overs.

Lauren Down dances down the track and powers Nat Sciver-Brunt's final delivery back over her head for four to bring up New Zealand's 200.

It's another slower ball, so well disguised. Gaze's through the shot because she's been deceived by the ball in the air. Lauren Bell has been mightily impressive today.

    Gaze c Sciver-Brunt b Bell 4 (NZ 194-7)

    Georgia Elwiss called it!

The slower ball from Lauren Bell does for Izzy Gaze, who can only top-edge the ball into the sky and Nat Sciver-Brunt pouches the catch running in from the covers.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some of Lauren Bell's back of the hand slower balls that are so lethal.

It has been a tough series for New Zealand so far but this knock from Amelia Kerr has been one of the high points.

  16. NZ 187-6published at 39 overs

Lauren Down and Izzy Gaze are the new batters by the way. This is a tricky situation to come in to as they have little time to get their eye in.

They look quick between the wickets though as they push for four singles off Natalie Sciver-Brunt.

That brief spell of summer we had earlier is now over, with thick cloud overhead. I don't think there's any immediate threat of rain though.

  17. NZ 183-6published at 38 overs

    How quickly things can change.

New Zealand will have been eyeing 220 but those two quick wickets from Lauren Bell suddenly makes that look optimistic.

Fantastic catch from Amy Jones. Halliday gets in a bit of a mess playing the pull shot. What an over from Lauren Bell.

    And now Brooke Halliday goes!

It is short from Lauren Bell and Halliday goes for the pull but can only glove through to Amy Jones, who takes an excellent catch behind the stumps.

Two wickets in three balls for Bell to seize the momentum back for England.

Yep. That's very out and Amelia Kerr's excellent innings comes to an end.
